FALSE ADVERTISING I was searching for a **** Ranger Rapter on ********. Town East Ford had one listed on the ******** website for $56,788 MSRP $59,055. I went to Town East Fords website and verified the $59,055 MSRP was discounted to $56,788. After a week of watching the ad, I called the sales department and told them I would buy the truck at the advertised discounted price. The sales *** indicated he would put the paperwork together and email it to me. He called back saying the information on the website was incorrect and that his Sales Manager told him that the last Ranger Rapter they sold at $10K over MSRP and would I like to make another offer. I said you linked the trucks sales information to an internet car sales site and it matches whats on your website; my offer is the price that the truck is advertised and I dont play that game. I said if they would honor the deal I would do the transaction, otherwise I was disappointed in this business practice and would write a negative review on their business. The sales *** said he would talk to his manager. I never heard back from them. I would give them a zero for false advertising If I could. I have screenshots of the Ad on ******** and Town East Ford.Town East Ford Response

On 7/29/24, I took my 2022 Bronco w/17300mi to TEF Service for year-long leaky driver-side CV Axle Shaft. I explained I first noticed the leak when removing the fender liner to install an oil catch can and noticed grease on the liner above the Shaft. I did not mention my observations the two prior times I had my Bronco in for service at TEF Service (4/24/24 and 9/14/23), because I figured if it significant, TEF Service Techs would note it during their inspections of my Bronco (which they SHOULD have done) and would remedy it, which they did NOT do! I explained it was my Bronco lift components Installer who told me that the Shaft was leaking and needed to be addressed by **** Service.I was told by TEF Service Consultant, *********************** that TEF may not cover the repair under warranty, because my Bronco has been lifted. I argued 1), all of the lift components were installed on my Bronco within the past 30 days 2), my Bronco has NEVER been off-road and 3), restated again that the leak is over a year old and my Bronco had been in TEF Service TWICE and nobody with TEF Service said anything about it. In short, I ended up demanding written statement to the effect and stated I would take my Bronco elsewhere and pursue remedy through **** Corporate and/or by other legal means.I then spoke with TEF Service Drive Mgr, ***********************. I presented the same argument to ****************. **************** urged me to leave my Bronco with TEF Service and, extending his hand to shake my hand said, Well do you right! I, being one who always hopes for the best in people and one who values a Mans Word as His Bond, I shook Mr. ******* hand and trusted the appropriate repair would be made under warranty, as it should be!I was WRONG!!! On 8/1/24, I was told again by ****************, the repair of my CV Axle Shaft would not be done under warranty.DO NOT PURCHASE A VEHICLE FROM TOWN EAST FORD OR ANY ****************** AUTOMOTIVE DEALERSHIP! IF YOU DO, YOU WILL REGRET IT!Town East Ford Response

To Whom it may concern, After review of Mr. ********** vehicle it was determined that the problem was directly related to the aftermarket lift that was installed on his vehicle. Below is an excerpt from the ****************** guideline on warranty repair. ***A chassis or body lift- or level- modifications to a vehicles suspension will manipulate the steering, transmission and drive axle angles required to ensure designed functions as indicated by the manufacturer. When a vehicle is raised- even leveled the distance between the transfer case and the axles increase, and the angles between the drive-shafts and those components change, as well as the responsiveness in turning and handling. This can often result in additional stress and ultimately failure of other components like the transfer case, axles, u-joints, seals, shocks, steering components, and wheel bearings. **** policy manual 3.1.04 NON-REIMBURSABLE CONDITIONS The ******************* Warranty does not cover the following:Damage Resulting from:Accidents, collision or objects striking the vehicle Theft, vandalism or riot Fire or explosion Freezing Misusing the vehicle, such as driving over cubs, overloading, racing or using the vehicle as a stationary power source.Alteration or modification of the vehicle- including the body, chassis components or unauthorized software updates - after the vehicle leaves ****'s Control Installation of non-**** parts installed after the vehicle leaves ****'s Control Tampering with the vehicle, tampering with the emissions systems, or with other parts that affect these systems.Disconnecting or altering the odometer or allowing the odometer to be inoperative for an extended period of time with the results that the actual mileage cannot be determined.Using contaminated or improper fluids ************************** or accidental spills Driving through water causing water to be ingested into the engine. We have a picture if needed. it will not load in the file.thank youReview from stifflerjd

DO NOT go to this shady dealership and play their scam games! I called ahead and talked to ***** the manager to confirm everything. We drove an hour and 15 minutes to get there. We sent all the paperwork, insurance, financing, etc. ahead of time. We arrived, test drove the Bronco and agreed to buy it. Only then did they tell us we HAD to buy an extended warranty and LoJack which costs almost $5,000 (see photo) over the listed price. The sales ****************** and some other manager named ***** said they would not sell the vehicle for the list price + TTL because they have no incentive to sell it to us. False advertising, Ill report this and let the BBB know. Save yourself time and go somewhere else or be willing to pay $5,000 over the listed price and play dealership games. Theyre running a scam!Review from Marlu U

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! I have visited at least 8 other dealerships in DFW and they were by far the worst. They upped the advertised price and the "manager" was very combative and argumentative when I called him out on it. I deal with salespeople weekly in my profession and have never been treated this way. These guys are your run of the mill shady used car salesman that don't like informed buyers.Town East Ford Response

Will not accept a cash offer. Tell you the vehicle is sold but then 2 hours later tell your friend it is still available if they finance in house. If that doesn't tell you they are getting kick backs on financing I don't know what does.Review from Jackie A

Very disappointed in Town East Ford because I had my OWN financing they would NOT sell me a car. Really. When did it matter who financed as long as you got your money. Then the other thing that did not set well was we gotta have funds before you take the car like i wad gonna steal it. I guess it was my skin color🤔 zero stars for TOWN EAST FORD
