    On September 13, 2024, **** picked up my 2014 F-150 for a recall service. My vehicle was functioning perfectly, and I scheduled this service purely as a preventative measure. Despite being more than happy to perform the service on this specific make, model, and year, the issues that have arisen since the service are severe. My vehicle now either revs unexpectedly while driving or when the brake is engaged, or it idles very low and shuts off completely at a stop. These problems began only after the software update was completed. A diagnostic performed by an independent mechanic found no engine warning lights and no additional problems but he was in the vehicle with me to observe the issues. He stated its clear that the recent service has caused these issues. The recall had to do with the transmission downshifting which was previously non-existent. What infuriates me is that I was not informed about the potential risks of these complications. Although the service advisor was polite, they only offered a contact for an independent mechanic who deals with these issues, making it clear that they do not handle vehicles of this age and cannot reverse the update. Had I been made aware of these risks beforehand, I would have sought additional advice before proceeding with the recall service. As a single mother living paycheck to paycheck, the additional financial burden of fixing these new problems is extremely painful! This situation is unacceptable. It is deeply disappointing that I was not warned about the potential outcomes of the service, particularly given that the dealership has faced similar issues in the past as stated by the advisor. The fact that they refer customers to an independent mechanic for these problems, rather than providing adequate support themselves, only adds to my frustration. HOW ABOUT WARNING YOUR CUSTOMERS BEFORE OFFERING/PROVIDING THE SERVICE?! That would be great for any decent human or business to do!

    worst experience I have ever had!!!!Zero star ,,but had to pick 1 or else wouldn't let me submit. Yes the help as soon as you get there is great, got into a car right away and purchased the warranty because its a used car and expected I would need it down the road .Was excited because i could work on my credit but that feeling went away quick had issues with car 3weeks in and got that fixed or so i thought. Iam going on 2 years on March **** and it has been in the shop more than i have driven it with all kinds of issues. I have asked to switch cars even that i wouldn't mind starting over on a new car note and it was always NO all we can do is to send it in and get it serviced. I need a dependable car. I have 2 daughters on of which graduated may *********************************************** the shop and had to be looking for rides because she was in the dual program and had to go from high school to college campus. When it goes in to get fixed its in the shop over 3moths at at time its crazy so im left with no car. Its in the shop right now again. Im just going to have to let it go. For Sewell being such a well know company around Permian Basin has really let me down and dont see how they are able to sell someone a car with all those issues .I would not recommend this place at all!!     I bought a car from here a year and 7 months ago I have taken it in to the Sewell located in ****** to have it checked multiple times the very first time I let them know my transmission was slipping they fixed a few things and gave it back to me I took it back multiple times with the same issue this was the for the same issue he told me there was nothing wrong with it but kept my vehicle for almost a month now my transmission is completely at the end and is barely holding on I tried to trade it in one gentleman told me I should total the vehicle and the other told me I needed a huge down payment because the car wasnt worth much and I owed the bank way to much I will never buy another vehicle from here I am now stuck with a huge payment and I am having to borrow a vehicle because the one they sold me is so unreliable I would not recommend any of their dealers at all !

    I have attempted to buy from this dealer 3 separate times. First time I was presented a false car faxs saying my vehicle was in an all 4 sides collision which was false after pulling my own. Management did not car one bit after I called them out on it. Second time I actually purchased a vehicle since it was the only one I could find that meet my needs. My third and final attempt was in Feb 2023 when we set up an appointment to look at a **** expedition. The sales person sent me links before the appointment then when we arrived he was quick to show us other vehicles. When asking to see the specific vehicle they said it was in the shop and we couldnt see it that day. Found out they didnt even have that vehicle and it was on another lot! We traveled to that lot and found that it had been there all day. We spoke to the sales rep and manager saying we were interested in that vehicle to purchase when they knew my name because the other lot had already called telling them I was coming and what they had told me previously. The manager at this lot kept up the lies saying it was in the shop after a salesman had said it had been on the lot all along. They immediately refused to negotiate and we left. Do not trust the Sewell **** people as they are liars and sneaks. Will never return
