I bought a Hustler lawn mower on May 18th for over $4,000. It was deliver on May 20th, I mowed that day and it was fine. On June 13th, with only 3.4 hours on the mower, I went out to crank the mower and it wouldnt even turn over or try to crank. I was able to jump it off and mowed half of my yard. I went inside for about 15 minutes then went back out to finish mowing and the same thing happened. Wouldnt turn over or try to crank. I called K&G to let them know something was wrong with the battery and they said to put it on the charger for 1.5 hrs then bring the battery to them to test. After an hour of being on the charger it was smoking and the battery looked like it was about to explode. I called them back and told them what happened and they said they would pick it up, replace AND upgrade the battery (which they did not upgrade) then bring it back. They picked it up on 6/14 and brought it back on 6/17. They parked it in my driveway, as we werent home. When I got home that evening I went to move it to the shop and again it wouldnt crank or turn over. I called K&G, they said they would come look at it. They came out the next day (again while we werent home) and said the starter was loose and it was fixed now. We were able to move it to the shop that evening. On 6/28, same thing-went to mow and wouldnt turn over. I called K&G and they said they would fix it. I said no I want a refund or a replacement. After going around & around they absolutely refuse to do either and just say that is why there is a warranty. This is the 3rd time Ive had to call them to fix this same issue and it has yet to be fixed. If I wanted to call someone every time I wanted my yard mowed I would not have bought a brand new mower. My mower has a 20 hour warranty and currently has 6.4 hours on it. The customer service has been terrible, and they have even bashed me on social media for demanding action and advertising an upset customer fee of $50.

Weve been dealing with K&G mowers, theyve had our mower for almost 2 months, when they said it was be done asap. Hardly communicate with us.They also left a comment to a review online. They charge $50 to costumers who are rude to them and the 50 goes towards their lunches as a sorry to the workers.
