WORST APARTMENT COMPLEX I have ever experienced as a Lifetime Renter; Edgewater In ************, *****. For starters, the UNPROFESSIONALISM from the previous staff was flat out unacceptable. We just had new staff come onboard and while I am sure they are overwhelmed having to clean up the mess the previous staff left, The new property manager was anything but friendly and welcoming when I met him. ********* the assistant mgr. is wonderful, customer oriented and knows what she is doing. Why she is not the Property Manager is beyond me. Let's start from the beginning. The sign out front has bulbs that have been burnt out for several months. Now. I don't know how much bulbs cost these days but the sign is the very first introduction to the community, when you can't take the time to properly make the sign look nice and polished then there's your RED FLAG to turn around and look elsewhere. Hours, phone numbers, how to contact the community, emails and so forth are not updated on the resident portal. For example, it states the office is closed Sundays and Mondays, yet the office is actually open on Mondays. You will never if ever reach someone in the office that will answer your phone call. All calls get routed to an answering service, the answering service takes a message and your message gets put in a black hole in the universe never to be seen ever again. My rent increased from $1000.00 to *******. Nothing has changed in my apartment, and the only request I asked from the new staff was that they compensate me with a washer and dryer. When I spoke to the new property manager his response was " I cannot place a washer and dryer in an occupied unit , but I can put one in a vacant unit" ....Excuse me, WHAT? MAKE THAT MAKE SENSE. This property doesn't even have a courtesy officer to call when the Latinos at the pool who do not reside on the property are blasting their accordion music and the rest of us just want to relax. All flash. No substance. DONT MOVE HERE!
