    Subject: Complaint Against ********************************* Care for ********************* and Billing PracticesDear Better Business Bureau,I am writing to formally file a complaint against ********************************* Care in **********, ** for engaging in unauthorized services and fraudulent billing practices during my recent visit to their office.I received dental services at ********************************* Care. However, without my prior knowledge or explicit consent, they performed additional services, including x-rays and scans, which were not covered by my insurance. Upon checking out, I was assured by the staff that all the services they provided were fully covered under my insurance plan. Trusting their word, I left the office under the impression that there would be no additional financial responsibility on my ******* my surprise, I later received a bill from ********************************* Care, stating that the x-rays and scans were not covered by my insurance, and that I am now responsible for the payment. This practice is not only misleading but appears to be fraudulent. At no point was I informed of the specific nature of these services, nor was I asked to approve them before they were performed. I believe that ********************************* Care has violated my trust by providing services without my consent and later expecting me to cover the cost of those unauthorized procedures.I feel that this situation reflects a serious lack of transparency and a failure to fully inform patients about their treatment and financial obligations before performing any services. I am requesting that the Better Business Bureau investigate this matter and take appropriate action to ensure that ********************************* Care is held accountable for their unethical business practices.Thank you for your attention to this matter. I hope for a swift resolution and look forward to your assistance.

    I was charged a surcharge for using my credit card with no notification or discussion or communication about it. The recipient I spoke to was extremely rude and impolite.

    I did not go to a dentist regularly as normal during 2020-2022 due to Covid. I bought insurance coverage through Delta Dental Care USA in early 2022 and selected Westgrove (Carrollton, Texas) as my provider. (The coverage was a Point Of Service.) The quality of the work by the dentist and hygienist was very good, but the financial side is a mess. My insurance reported my out-of-pocket cost for one visit as $352. I was charged $1,459 !!!!! On another visit, insurance stated out-of-pocket as $60. I was charged $320. I have filed a grievance. (I did this previously on another visit. While the overall charge ended up being correct, almost none of the itemized treatments were priced correctly.) I recently received a balance due statement. For what? I cannot tell. I have requested backup on multiple occasions and have received NO replies.
