    Medical City Plano - took care of my mother couple of times but this time today August 22 ***** they really throw the ball on everything - I brought my mother for high speed heart rate ** took blood and urine samples they lost the urine sample we were waiting for the culture for further treatment and discharge they lost the urine sample they also changed catheter on my mom on 8/10 and they changed again on 8/21 and today 8/22 I told the nurses please stop changing the catheter she already got changed so many times and will create infections - well the day doctor that was in charge that day (room A321) refused talk to me and put on the notes change catheter before discharging - also I wanted to ask the doctor whats the plan for her why her heart rate was so high why are you giving her antibiotics without a urine culture I had so many questions and she just didnt wanted to talk to me - so unprofessional -Not mentioning the ** keeps collecting the urine sample from the bag instead of the catheter even her infection doctor got mad at me telling me I should not allowed that because it is not a clean sample and even after our request they still collecting urine sample from the bag Im done with his hospital - they just kept my mother changing catheter over and over to charge to the insurance - we are not patients here but a way to make money

    Very dissatisfied with Plano Medical City, will not go there in future. In September 2021 I went for routine annual mammography (30 minute, walk in breast x-ray) as recommended by my doctor and paid 100% by my insurance ( as it is labeled preventive care). After getting paid by my insurance they sent me an overpriced and unexplained bill for $622.48 labeled *hospital services although did not step foot in the hospital. When I called them explaining that according to Explanation of Benefit statements from my insurance company patient responsibility is $0.00 customer service checked the data and said someone must have put the wrong code and that they will remove the charge. They never removed the charge and sent the account to Medicredit for collection. It is so frustrating to call collection, patient advocate, insurance company and BBB to explain a summary of my visit and provide documentation to support my dispute. Medical City Plano still has to explain and justify the *hospital services charge for $622.48 when I did NOT get any hospital services. BBB please help me resolve this bill. A frustrated Texas teacher with TSHB Insurance Plan (Texas School Health Benefit)

    Important fact : For the same service (annual mammogram), same insurance(TSHB), same facility (Solis Mammography) same time last year (service on 10/24/20) Medical City DID NOT charge me anything beyond what insurance paid. Not sure why they charged me this time, as everything is the same.

    Delays in test which should be done sooner. Making patients wait for longer times in ICU. And not hours but days and days they make you wait. If there is any exam they do not let you eat or drink for 8 hours but since nothing is scheduled even for ICU patients they do not tell you what time is the exam and make you fast more than 12 hours without any information. They let patients suffer. Extremely dissatisfied!!! They are really not concerned even if the person is in ICU. They will just do their tests as and when they can. And create unnecessary delays in everything. Absolutely waste of time.
