I requested 2 movers for a 2 bdr 1 bath. They came on time and I helped them move stuff to the door. I asked them to take a total of ***** boxes and I only have 3 boxes in my storage.i was not there when they got to the storage, it took me almost 30mins if not that to get there. So, I have no clue what happened around that time.

We booked with AB Movers to move a 2 bedroom apartment on Wednesday June 12, 2024. The move included 25 boxes, a small sectional, 1 king size bed, 1 queen size bed, 2 dressers, 2 night stands, 2 mirrors, and a coffee table. We did not have to move any refrigerators, washers/dryers, end tables or a dining room set. We were told the movers would be at the apartment between 1pm - 4pm. Unfortunately, they did not get to the apartment until 4:37pm. We had everything packed, taped, and moved to the front in hopes of making the move smooth and quick. We were lucky to get 3 male movers sent to us; however, it took the men approximately 2 hours to move our belongings from our first apartment onto the truck. Our old apartment and new apartment is 5 miles apart. Although it took me and my roommate 15 minutes to drive to the new address. The movers took approximately ***** minutes and stated they were lost. Once the movers finally made it to the final destination, it took the 3 men another 2 hours to unload everything. This apartment included 2 elevators and a set of stairs which could all be used. There were multiple instances at both addresses where the men would disappear for approximately ***** minutes at a time. In total the move took over 5 hours. Additionally, my coffee table was completely broken and they only offered 0.60 per pound of the estimated weight of the item, regardless of how much the furniture initially cost. In total to move an 1040 sqft 2 bedroom apartment, costed us over $700.00. We were charged approximately $150.00/hr which one of the hours was spent lost. They also charge a $79.00 trip fee which was not explained to us and a $20.00 credit card fee. Additionally, it will take approximately 3-months for the 0.60 cents per pound (approximately $40.00) on an $300.00 coffee table to be reimbursed to us. We are disappointed with our service and the front office is not responsive calls or emails.

We hired AB's during a chaotic period. Our contract was to move only large items and a few boxes, there were still personal items visible in the house. Our circumstances were hectic.After the move completion, I discovered jewelry missing from our previous residence; 3 bracelets, 2 rings and most significantly, my great-grandmother's diamond necklace. While I acknowledge that I should have been more vigilant and not left these items visible, I know all these pieces were not misplaced or lost during the move. These items where in my possession the day prior.This disappearance of these items raises serious questions about the crews integrity. The circumstances of their disappearance have left me feeling violated, particularly considering the crew had unsupervised access.Upon contacting AB to express my concerns, it took several attempts to reach anyone. Despite my efforts, AB would not provide me with the names the of the movers, although I managed to ascertain the name of the crew leader, *********************. After days of no response, I contact the Grayson Sheriff to file a report.During the investigation, I learned that although the movers were driving an AB **** they are hired as subcontractors, AB would not provide identities. This revelation is suspicious and raises serious doubts about AB Moving's hiring practices.I believe that the actions of a few have the potential to tarnish the reputation of an entire company. I suspect that situations similar to mine are common. Subcontractors exploit the process to pilfer. You may not realize the theft in a practical timeframe, thinking it's misplaced or discarded. Before hiring AB, exercise caution; safeguard belongings. Request ID from all whom enter your home. AB appears to have no knowledge of who they hire and assumes no responsibility for their actions.In conclusion, AB Moving has left me deeply regretful. By sharing my ordeal, I hope to help others make informed decisions when selecting a moving company.

The movers stole from my Apartment, my antiques are gone forever.!!! Generations after generations..And they didn't get everything, I really didn't think I had to babysit these grown men. I so disappointed, I had 3 others movers calling me for business and this is what I get on my first moving company.. They're recording says we treat you like family which is a lie, they took advantage of me, and I'm sure other people have things missing too. Shouldn't even give the 1 star. One of them took a dump and left the tissue roll in the sink, now I gotta clean up after them, plastic roll in the floor, other boxes they left behind, they were trying to Rush me, that's why they left stuff behind. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY, overpriced and stolen antiques.

This company took 0 care in my personal items, caused over $1k in damages and mostly ignored my concerns via "customer service" no apologies. They waited weeks to offer me 180 bucks and would not reply to any further discussion. Absolute worst experience I have ever had with a moving company and I have moved a lot.

I am unable to get in touch with the claims department after their crew spent 1-hour on break in addition to being extremely slow and rude. They refused to provide a sufficient settlement or address the unprofessional crew. They assigned me with a completely inexperienced crew and charged a premium for it. Unacceptable from a professional moving service.

So this company was hired on from the flooring company that was redoing our floors due to a warranty claim. Not only were they late but they of course damaged some of our more expensive furniture. When I initially reached out to AB Moving I was dealing with ***************************. At first, the original offer she gave me was $50. This is for the tv cabinet that cost $2500 not including the other furniture that was damaged as well. She then raised it up to $300 which is still a slap in the face. She told me she was going to reach out to her customer care team which is *************************. His offer was $400 and told me that they would never go this high ever for a settlement. I told him if your movers were to break someone's $2000 tv, they wouldn't offer a replacement amount and he said no they wouldn't. Why would a million-dollar company not have insurance for these types of situations and the customer gets screwed at the end of it? I will not be backing down and the owner of the company is ***** Baker if anyone wants to know.

Do not use AB moving - they are conducting fraudulent activity - I have reported them to the BBB. In order to use a debit card they require you to provide a picture of the front and back of your card and DL. The day after I used them I had over 600 dollars in fraudulent activity take place on my account using Apple Pay- I should have known better and told them I did not want to provide - any company that doesnt take Zelle or Apple Pay should be avoided at all costs. **** in ****** needs to be investigated by the ***
