I had a saleman come to my door to spoke to me about Romex providing pest control service. When I agreed he gave me the place to sign on his tablet. In fine print, which he did not show me, was the wording about a $250 cancelation fee for early cancelation. I am not happy with their service. I have been treated twice and I still have spiders. My house is only 6 months old. I feel they are practicing a deceptive sales practice.

The worst service of all. I had the service since 2018 and the first two years it was very good and effective, then it seemed that they only applied water because I had many problems with ants and spiders inside and outside the house, I called and reported it, they came and continued with the problem at the level I went to Lowes to buy a repellent for ants and spiders and it was much more effective than what they were applying. On several occasions I contacted the company because they sent me the bill as if they had gone to the house to do the service and when I checked the cameras around the house they had never gone and it happened to me on several occasions. I disliked the service because it was not effective and the customer service was terrible and hostile, then they told me that if I canceled it I would have to pay a $250 dollar fine for canceling it before the contract date. Despite their promises of free additional services if you're unhappy and the option to cancel anytime, it's all misleading. People BE AWARE of these hidden terms and don't fall for this company's deceitful practices. It's not just a waste of money; it's a complete and utter SCAM, especially the Termite installation!

BE AWARE!I'm utterly disappointed and frustrated with Romex Pest Control. Their service was nowhere near satisfactory. Firstly, their "comprehensive" pest treatment was nothing more than a quick spray at the front door, completely ignoring the entire backyard which is obviously the main problem area. This half-hearted attempt has actually led to an increase in bugs rather than diminishing them.Moreover, there's a sneaky contract cancellation fee that they conveniently fail to mention upfront. You're locked into an 18-month contract, and if you decide their inadequate services aren't for you, you're slapped with a hefty $250 cancellation fee. Despite their promises of free additional services if you're unhappy and the option to cancel anytime, it's all misleading. These are just sales tactics to lock you into their subpar service.BE AWARE of these hidden terms and don't fall for this company's deceitful practices. It's not just a waste of money; it's a complete and utter scam.

I was mislead about the cost of service after the initial treatment. I think they scammed me and lied to me about how much the service would cost on a bi monthly basis. Deceptive business practices

In August 2023, a salesman came to our home from Romex Pest Control to sell us their service. He arrived with a tablet for us to sign but had no print capability, he held the tablet not letting us read but only showing us the place to sign while he talked. We were not initially interested in this service. ************* was very aggressive and we finally agreed to have the house treated that night. We only agreed for the service that first night because ************* assured us that if we were not satisfied, we could cancel the service at any time. He never mentioned that Romex would charge us a cancellation fee.We called Romex the next day to tell them that the service was not complete, they had failed to treat areas where wasp nests were under our *****. Not very good service. Days after the service we were surprised to see more ants and spiders, which we thought shouldnt be there after the treatment.Weeks later, another service rep came to our house to perform more treatments, and we told him we did not want more service because we were not happy with Romex. It was this service rep who told us we would be charged a Cancellation Fee.Several more times a Romex representative would contact us via phone or text, we told them we were not happy with your service and wish to cancel the service. Their response to us was aggressive and threatening. They then told us they would be a $250 cancellation fee. This was never told to us or explained when we signed up or we would not have signed for this service.After Romex notified us of a Cancellation charge, they threatened to take further action. Romex has turned this over to A.R.M. Solutions, a collection agency. We are senior citizens, and this situation has caused us both a great deal of pressure and stress, affecting our health and wellbeing. We believe your business practices are unethical.

Called to cancel after the spiders got worse and my baby got bit twice in one month. Told me to send proof which I did and they still havent acknowledged and are wanting to continue to charge me.
