We entered into contract on June 28th 2024 for 30x40 building including concrete slab. On June 28th 2024 a $10,000 deposit was paid. At time of signing we were told the project would be complete in 6 to 8 weeks. We are now at 18 weeks and no where near completion. Since receiving our deposit they have done nothing but lie. We were given the names of 4 different concrete contractors that were supposed to do the job . First contractor never even bothered to reach out to us. Received calls from the 2nd and 3rd contractors but they never showed up to do work. 4th contractors randomly showed up at my house. Complained they had to drive 7 hrs from AR to **, framed out the site for concrete, and said they would be back the following week to pour concrete. That was three weeks ago!Several phone calls were made to ******* since looking for an update and we are repeatedly told he will check for update and get back to us. He never does... Today 11/4/2024, Five months after receiving our deposit, ******* stated Crush it (the first concrete contractor who was a no show) is now doing the work and he will call back with an update. Once again no return from *******. Also reached out to ***** who I believe is a manager/owner who promised he would "get us fixed up" and would get a date for us. And surprise , surprise no return call from him either. Red Rover needs to do the right thing and get this project completed immediately. Do the right thing and show that you actually care about your customers! This is the worse ********************** I have ever dealt with. They should not be allowed to do business if they cant do the job they were paid to do!Business response

We do understand the grievances and issues that we've had with this contract with this customer. We actually offered a solution yesterday to Mr. ***** ****** and we are waiting to hear back on the solution and we are trying to work out a couple details to get him taken care of.Customer response

3/6/24 got a quote. 3/18 signed a contract, the end of good communication. Twice , I was messaged saying the contract wasnt signed. When I said the link did not work, he said he would look into it. I never heard any more. 5/3 received an email apologizing for delays stating weather, and banking issues. The contractor came and installed building but the foundation did not line up. 7/5 I emailed RR showing the gap below the door He ***lied thank you for letting us know so we can fix this. 7/9 the finance company called asking if the building was completed to my satisfaction so they can release the funds. I told them I was not satisfied and waiting for some ***airs to be made. 7/10 I received a phone call from ******* asking for the funds to be released and promises were made to ***air the door area and to clean up the concrete. He said the door issue was common and he would get the crew out there. 8/7 no answer from Red Rover yet so I sent an email asking if they were still going to do the ***airs and clean up. 8/9/24 I received a ***ly back apologizing. 8/14 received an email saying he had spoke with the contractor and they would be on site on 8/16.. Contractor never showed. 8/28 I left a poor ****** review . 8/29 ******* emailed me and said he would send a ***resentative to look everything over. The *** did not show and I sent an email to ******* at noon. I received a ***ly saying they had sone things happen over the weekend and he would have to push it out another day. .Concrete contractors notified ******* and he called me on 9/10 and said there was no reason for the *** to come. He also told me they were no longer using the building contractor they had used on my building. I mentioned the damaged concrete on the foundation and the door rails. He told me he would see if the concrete contractors could ***air the door rails. 9/13 I had not heard anything yet from our last phone call so I sent him more pictures of remaining issues. This information is not the full story, this customer did buy around october of 2023, however, we could not start or even do any work until Roughly July of 2024 because we were waiting on him to obtain his permit. Since he obtained his permit, we did have issues getting the work done, we told the customer that we felt like we couldn't adequately service him as we hoped we could have. So we sent him a check for $6000, which is three times the amount of money he paid us in the beginning, but the majority of the holdup was all the customer not pulling his permit. The check did get to him and he did try to take it out and deposit it, and the bank called the wrong bank for verification. We spoke to the customer on the same day and spoke with our bank and they said it would be good to go to call into the number given, and they were verify the check, the customer was still having issues at the bank he was at with the check. We did inform him if he would give us wiring instructions with the wire him the $6000.Initial Complaint

I ordered a 24 X 40 metal building with concrete slab included on 6/10/24. It took over a month to get the concrete slab poured, and the concrete contractor decided to be nice and go ahead and pour the slab as he was assured that the money would be sent to him by Red Rover. It is now 8/17/24 and the slab has been complete for over 3 weeks and the concrete contractor has still yet to receive payment. He stated to me that Red Rover has blocked his phone calls. He calls me just about every day asking if I can make a payment. I would love to pay this guy if I can get my 10k deposit back from Red Rover, but they have every excuse in the book when I actually get someone on the phone. The latest claim was they could not pay for the slab until the finance paper work is completed. I have asked for the paper work for a week now, and they refuse to send it. I have reported this company to my Bank as Fraud and they are now looking into the matter. Red Rover needs to pay me my deposit back so that I can pay for this concrete slab sitting in my yard before the contractor gets feed up and shows up to collect it in pieces if necessary. I will pay for the concrete and find another company to finance the building because the building has yet to be scheduled and I am very weary that Red Rover will do the same to the building contractor as the concrete contractor. Worst company I have ever dealt with. Very unprofessional, They don't answer or return phone calls, and lie about everything.Business response

I entered into contract on June ****** They couldnt answer my calls fast enough until I signed that loan. Since then its been he&& only way I can get them to answer is use someone elses phone. Soon as they find out who it is they going to call me right back. Of course that never happens. Here it is August still NOTHING!!!!! They have my money thats it. Always pass the **** with them. The first impression was great spoke with **** the salesman he quoted me for concrete building and spray in insulation for ****** for a 30x30 shop. And he asked me if I was set on the bubble wrap cause spray foam was better. I told him yes but I was first trying to keep cost down. I then asked for the same quote on another building and he told me he could do it for ****** I said great let's do it. But I asked him was that with insulation he never replied! The next contact was a week later where he was sending the financing papers. Which I have never gotten an answer from him without asking two or three times in a week! This all happend in December right before Christmas he told me beginning of March the building would be complete! Over the next 3 months I messaged **** about what I needed to do to get things moving along. Twice I messaged him about who scheduled the spray foam to be done! He replied that they would schedule it! So finally by may not march the building shows up! I asked him again ok so since it's up when can I expect the foam I told him I wanted to get a schedule so the electric could be done he replied asking if I wanted him to wait until the electric was done to schedule it I replied with no schedule it! So now that the building has been up two weeks the two roll up doors don't match I had to finish putting the screws in the roof! And I messaged him twice about getting insulation scheduled he replied with I will get it done and a week later after I messaged again he replied it's not in your contract! Your kidding me right! He said we'll when you messaged me I didn't look to make sure it was in there! I was also told that he didn't look he thought I did! I just want my doors to match and the insulation done that this guy turned me onto and then told me he didn't add after the building was up!! We entered into a contract with Red Rover Metal Buildings about a month ago. When we were in the process of designing and choosing the building the company answered and communicated timely. However, since then no one will call us back. When we call the voicemail box is full or we get sent to someone else. Our concrete was supposed to get poured 2 weeks ago and we still havent heard from the concrete company. My husband even went so far as to use someone elses phone to see if they would answerand they didbut didnt answer when my husband called from his cell phone just 2 minutes prior. We thought our research was extensive enough when looking for a reputable company to hire but apparently we didnt do a thorough enough job. This complany has 2 ******** pages and of course we only saw the one with glowing reviews. We didnt think to look at BBB because the reviews were so good. Well we were definitely WRONG! The complaints from others are exactly what we are going through!Business response

This is the 2nd complaint against this company. The first complaint someone responded within a day so I am hoping the same with this complaint because no one will answer the phone. We are going on 2 months now and we have 1/2 of a concrete slab poured. The concrete company wont pour the rest of the concrete because Red Rover wont pay the concrete company and wont return the concrete companys call. To get them to answer my call, I had to turn my calling ID off on my phone. Like last complaint they responded when I used someone elses phone. I just want this finished so we never have to deal with this company again. Also, I hope others seeing this will not use this company. Worse experience of any company I have ever used for any kind of work. Since the company wont communicate and has our money, if this doesnt get finished soon we will seek legal counsel.Business response

We have been in constant communication with ******************, who signed the order with us, we actually spoke to him yesterday and told him we should have an update sometime today or Friday on the installation date, concrete date, and the other things he was needing from us. The reason we could not pour the entire slab at one time was due to an issue at the customers property that we were unaware of in the beginning.Customer response

Complaint: 21709500The response is the biggest bunch of BS. Red Rover hasnt been in constant contact with ANYONE. Again, I had to turn off my caller ID for them to answer the phone. The concrete company that was supposed to be paid a week and half ago hasnt heard from anyone either. All we get is constant lies. The concrete company was so angry they were going to drive to where Red Rover was located and stay until they got paid. We contacted the Finance Company about the loan that was submitted by us in April only to find out the loan is still pending because Red Rover hasnt completed and submitted the paperwork on their end. AND the phone number the loan company has for Red Rover is no longer a working number. About the issue with the our property, Red Rover didnt have a clue there was an issue until my husband told them the original concrete company Red Rover hired wouldnt pour the concrete. My husband had to reach out to the current concrete company himself to get concrete poured. We shouldnt even be involved in contacting people for the job. BEYOND FED UP AND FRUSTRATED!

On Dec. 1, 2023 I signed a contract and provided a $ ******** down payment to Red Rover Buildings to provide and erect a 30 ft x 40 ft metal storage building at my residence in **********. The quoted price also included the cost for Red Rover to install a concrete foundation for the building. It was noted in the contract the this was to be a "Certified Unit" since obtaining a building permit is required in *******, **. To date Red Rover has failed to provide the correct engineering for me to obtain a building permit. They have only provided two different sets of shop fabrication sheets that were expired. Per the contract "Certified units are built according to engineer specifications and engineer blueprint/ drawings". I sent a certified letter 2/22/24 cancelling my order a requesting a full refund. On 3/7/24 I found out the letter was at their local post office waiting to be picked up. I sent an email telling them the letter was at the post office and added a copy of the cancellation letter to the email. I did receive a text from their complaint department on 3/7/24 stating they we going to get the refund to me but I still have not received it.Business response

The check was sent for this customer, and they have already deposited into their account, we just had a delay with getting the check out. The refund has already been given to the customer. The issues weren't due to red ********************** and he was past the three day right to rescision but we still chose to refund him.

I contacted **** about building a shop, and he sent me a quote on June 20. He was very punctual and stayed in contact with me thru out the whole purchase process, kind of pushy about putting some amount of a cash deposit down (which I did not). Signed the Contract and got the loan approved on July 3 ($35,000.00). This was a turn key price, they were to have the concrete done and the building installed. **** told me that we were looking at 6 to 8 weeks. We are now going on week 17 and nothing has been done. The building manufacture has called me several times, the building has been ready to ship for over 13 weeks, but I still have no concrete. I contacted there office several times. I have never received a return call the man the phone always says the same thing "he will have them call me back", he never ask for a name or a call back number (and you can hear someone in the back ground couching him on what to say). I contacted **** directly as well (cell phone) called and text. He wont call back and the issue is still unresolved. I have requested that they just cancel the order and relive me from any obligation to them or there finance company. Still haven't received any documentation showing this has been canceled.Business response

I purchased a 40x15 metal building from Red Rover Metal Buildings Vidor Tx. My sales representative was ******* *********. I paid for my building in full. When the installers showed up to build my building is was the wrong color. They showed up late in the evening without notice. After the building was complete there were lots of issues. The building leaked, the 2 rollup doors have dents in them. The top part of the roof shows daylight and I can't even heat or cool my building due to the gaps. I have been waiting 8 months now to get my building repaired. ***** at Red Rover buildings tells me their not responsible for the repairs since Red Rover buildings contracted out the installation out to *** ******** ******** ** *********** **. I have been talking with ***** and **** for the past 6 months and they tell me their working on it. No one is taking responsibility for my building that I've paid in full. I need your help. I am beginning a law suit this week against Red Rover Buildings and *** ******** ********** I proceedings will begin in the morning with a demand letter. These companies need to have a complaint in their file so the general public can see what types off companies these are. I'm going to seek damages and lost compensation damages against both Red Rover buildings and *** ******** *********. These are really bad companies. Can you please help me? I have pictures and text messages for proof from, ******* and ***** at Red Rover Buildings and ***** and **** at *** ******** *********. Let me know what I need to do next. Customer's ********************** was not manufactured or installed by Red Rover. It was all handled by a separate company and Red Rover was only the Sales Agent for the building. Customer was compensated for the incorrect color on the roofing when installed. Red Rover had no part on the installation of the building. We have tried to come to a compromise to help this customer out but his issue is with the installing company.

We are aware that there are some issues with installation, red rover has done there part to try and correct and offered back the portion that red rover made as the sales agent. customer is seeing more and NAC Metal ********************** is who installed and will fix all claims, issues and warranty work, as red rover had exhausted all its efforts to make right for this customer.Customer response
