I too have been a customer for many years. Reading these reviews, the bank seems to have been fair and all issues resolved. I will continue to use Bask for their very high savings and CD rates. I haven't found anyone else that can touch them. I always use their online facilities and they have always worked perfectly :-).

I've been a customer of ********* for many years. I've always found them to have excellent customer service, knowledgeable staff, and higher than average interest on my money. I have recommended this bank to others.

********* attracts depositors on line with offers of high interest rates, but, as another previous customer wrote, to open an account the bank is requiring extensive, burdensome and invasive verification steps I agree. Certainly data security is important. Particularly with the initial contact. But how many times do I have to send this bank a copy of my driver's license? My facial image? By the fourth or fifth account we opened with them, they should've clearly recognized us as known customers. But, no.My complaint is not with the security procedures of *********. What I don't like is their politely-scripted customer service department that has no way of confirming that we're on their "OK" list until after requiring extensive, burdensome and invasive verification steps again and again. So my wife and I are going elsewhere. Banking is about relationships--not just bucks.

I opened a CD and saving account with ********** After several months, I requested them to send the interest money to my external account associated with ********** They have life difficult on me. They are asking for so much information just to get my few hundred interest money, and then they will charge me $35 wire transfer fee. This seems total strange, if not fraud, to charge me $35 for sending my own money to me.

There is zero chance this bank is looking to actually open an AA miles account with anyone right now. We've tried two separate times - once myself and once with my husband's info and both were rejected. We've literally opened other savings accounts very recently with ****** and Amex and no issues whatsoever. We've even called to see if there was a way to manually open an account and the answer was no. They can't tell you why the error is happening nor can they open the account for you with you on the phone. There's something not right about this bank.

There is no way to reach customer service. I have phoned twice and left messages for a return call about my new account not showing up as eligible to fund with my linked primary bank account. It has my external bank account information listed for transferring money but not the ********* account I set up to fund. I next tried to submit a customer service "messages" within the ********* webpage - again no response. Finally I emailed their customer service - no response. Now wondering if it is possible this is a fake bank and entered my primary banking information into a scam webpage? Please help protect other consumers for a circle of wasting time.

I opened an account, funded the account, and several days later, Bask "disabled" my account without notifying me or providing any explanation. In other words, they held my account funds hostage for weeks. Only after I initiated an FDIC investigation, did **** make an effort to communicate. **** never disclosed as to why they shut me out of my account. Don't do it! Bask, a subsidiary of Texas Capital Bank, is a despicable institution: not worth the risk or the stress.

I opened a Savings account to accrue interest. Deposited a bit of money in there to collect interest. I needed the money so I requested a transfer back to my main bank account and my account was disabled! I didn't receive any call, text, or e-mail about this (despite their website saying they "proactively" contact their customers about questionable activity.) I've called twice and they didn't help. Only sent e-mails to the fraud department and said they'd contact me. A week later and still haven't received any notification. I am so upset. NEVER use this bank. I'm closing my account as soon as this is settled.

I hold two accounts in BASK Online. I don't know why these other ratings are so low. Or, if they are "verified" ratings. I have had nothing but good support over the phone and by secure messaging. All the representatives have answered my questions and messages with concisely and accurately. I believe that the poor reviews and complaints are being made by people that must not be very familiar with online banks and the security measures they put in place.

They disabled acct and said they had changed to someone else. Said acct did not exist. Then said disable due to wrong tele phone number. All a lie. Said will call back. Cannot access money I desperately need. What to do? Not first problem.
