Had to move from one apartment building to another and the apt com0lex and owner ABSOLUTELY refuse to replace the the whole frame and sliding glass door and I have been having this issue ever since I moved in and my grand son has fallen thru the screen door to payment with the screen door screen door don't fit at all was told by corporate office and property manager they don't want to spend the money to replace it and they have been told by 2 different glass companies and by 2 different sets of their own mantiance crew that the whole frame and door need to be replaced..I have been dealing with this since August of 2023.Business response

Hey there Ms. **************** completely value your residency here at Bella Asset/************** Apartments. While yourself and our **************** has spoken, and were made aware that our contractor assisted in the resolution of this matter some time ago. We understand that, based off your opinion/observation of the overall repair to your you patio door, you deem is as unsatisfactory, and would like a second look and or opinion in this matter. With that being said, We first want to thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. Please know, that this matter has been escalated, and will attentively pursue the resolution for this matter.
As of today 2/3/2025. Our, ********************************* has reached out to a local business, that specializes in the patio door/glass space. Our objective is to retrieve their professional opinion, advice and quote, so we can move forward with the best solution accordingly.

We went without heat during the winter and then now were dealing with issues of them not fixing the ac for two months. Told me to send them my electric info so they could deduct it from my bill but then said that they are not because its the same as everyone else in the complex. They kept putting it off and now they are wanting us to pay over 2000 by Monday June 17,2024. Or else we will be evicted.Business response

Resident has not paid her rent and owes $2223 and we have filed eviction. There are no open work orders for this unit. All is well.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:They only fixed the work orders after the fact that we kept complaining about our ac and then said theyd deduct money from rent but didnt bc it apparently is the same as everyone elses in the apt complex which is a lie! Then proceeded to tell us they will file for eviction. Never notified us through mail and then waited until after I left for work 06/26/27 to place a paper on my door saying I have a court date.
They closed out the work orders before it was even fixed. And kept ignoring us when wed ask when it would be fixed.

Air condition leaking water for the 5th time leaving the floors in the bathroom , hallway ,living room soaked, wet and unlivable. Everytime we report something it takes months to fix. As you can see on the ********* on the hole in the ceilling , I reported march 2nd 2023 that the roof was leaking to no avail. July 29,2023 i **** up with my ceiling caved in on my truck. Oddly enough i didn't charge them for the damage to my vehicle. They fixed ithe ceiling a day later in which i showed then the roof as well. They brought shingles with then to put on the roof. They repaired the ceiling but the shingles are still in the garage after 3 weeks waiting to be put on the roof. They did the same thing with the dishwasher when we told them that it was leaking and water was everywhere. we mopped and mopped for months while still paying rent. Manually washed dishes instead of using the dishwasher until I threathen to call the BBB but by that time the leaked water had ruined the floors. Our neighbor advised us when we moved there in 2018 that the owners (which changed Ownership 3 times during our stay) never fix anything but we could not imagine that it would be this horrible. I've Spent money that I didn't really have to spend on things such as the Air Conditioner/ Heat a few times. Actually 3 years ago I reported that our heat was out on one of the coldest nights of the year they didn't come for 4 days to repair the heat after being called 16 times and my then 11 year old laying in between myself and my wife to stay warm so I went and Got us a Room for 2 nights. But by the time they came to fix it I had already called ******************************** to repair the heat and paid him in payments and Bella refuse to reinburse me. I spoke with ***** as of 3 weeks ago and advised her that we will have to move due to the unlivable conditions that they have continuously force myself and my family to live in and she advised me to turn my keys please turn my keys in advised her that wouldn't be a problem.Initial Complaint

On may 21st I stayed at the Barcalona Suites in *********** ** when I checked in I was charged a $200 cash deposit for incidentals I was told as long as I don't smoke or tear up the room I'd get my deposit back in the morning. I ended up staying the night at a lady friends place so I spent maybe a total of 30 mins in the room. When I went to checkout in the morning the manager **** went and checked my room came back and informed me I wouldn't be getting my deposit back because my room smelled like fentanyl which impossible because I'm allergic to opioids and I don't smoke and I was only in the room for 30 mins the night before. **** then tells me I will not be allowed to rent there any more I asked for my folio so I had documentation of the charges she refused to give it to me When I asked to speak to her supervisor she said she was the final say I asked for the owners name she said she was the owner as well.when I walked out of the building a few residents who had over heard what happened informed me **** always finds a reason to not return a guests deposit.Business response

To Whom It May **************** have no records of a ********************* on 5/20 to 5/21, in fact I did a search of all daily guests that stayed between 5/17 and 5/31 and only 1 guest matched the complaint, however; the name was not *********************. I always include notes in any guest account when there are guests complaints or problems with a guest. My notes were as follows (highlighted in pink):
I evicted the person when it was reported someone was breaking into a vehicle in the ********* ***** went outside immediately and found a female who was in this room using a knife to break into a car. I escorted her to this room and immediately smelled fentanyol and evicted them both. ******** came to assist and smelled it as well. no refund on room or deposit - AMC
I have attached the Reservation Search with the dates listed above as well as the registration card and of the guest who checked in on the date in question as well as the guest on 5/30 to 5/31 whose account had my notes that matched the guest complaint you received. On 5/21 a female guest checked out, but I was not present and her deposit was refunded. On the second guest, I posted the deposit which was a credit card not cash in the guest account for smoking in the room. Unfortunately, fentanyl is rampant in this city and I have zero tolerance for anyone who smokes that illegal drug on my property, first and formost, our property is NON-SMOKING. You automatically lose your deposit if you smoke in my rooms. The deposit will not be refunded and I stand by my decision, he may not have smoked but the female who was with him who was caught trying to vandalize a vehicle was the reason I went to his room in the first place. The room reeked of fentanyl and this is an odor that will physically affect anyone who inhales it not just the drug addict that smokes it.

I moved into *********************** apartments in ***** ******** owned by Bella assets management, over a year ago. I moved into this apartment because the office manager convinced me that it was a great place to live. The first serious problem that I had was that my brand new motorcycle got stolen from there and it was parked directly in front of my apartment. I asked the leasing manager if they could look at the security cameras so I could try and see who took my bike but she never would. My second problem was that during my 12-month lease I did end up getting married and my husband moved in with me. Over about a 6-month period I had been saving money to buy my daughter a car for her 16th birthday on April 25th 2023. I was finally able to purchase the car around December of 2022. I have the bill of sale as well as the title. I was waiting until my daughter's birthday to sign the title over because we were going to put it in her name and she would need to sign it. The leasing manager here, without even asking me just assumed that it was my husband's car, and she had my vehicle towed from right in front of my apartment for no reason. She text me that morning and told me that the vehicle needed to be moved or that it was going to get towed, and I was at work because I work two jobs, so I called my husband told him to move the car he immediately went outside to move it if she already had the tow truck there. He went outside and the landlord was there and he told her he could move the car he had the ************ and she said no and towed it anyways, then ran back in her office and refused to speak with him. So I had my car towed when it was sitting directly in front of my apartment for no apparent reason. It did not break any rules or violations in the parking section of my lease. So at this point I have already lost two vehicles including my daughter's birthday present.Initial Complaint

I moved in July 13. My apartment manager never gave Bella the money I gave him. I have my receipts and have contacted Bella but they refuse to give me any correct contact information. They refuse to do any maintenance and have been charging me much higher than any tenant, including new tenants after me. They have shut our water off for days without giving us any notice and have told some residence that the water is unsafe to even drink or cook with. There's mold growing and constant rat problems. The second floor walk way is falling apart and sinking right above my apartment. We have no heat in out apartment complex either despite that it once had central air and heat. This place is a serious health problem and hazard. The management has even told some people that they enjoy watching the security camera footage strictly for entertainment but when a serious crime or reason to look at footage, there is none to be seen.Initial Complaint

Will embezzle your money and commit consumer fraud. I didn't sign any documents and they kept my security deposit. Will take ur money for non apartment being ready. Rude staff.i filed a city complaint for being dishonest. Took them to small claims court. No response on being served. Obviously. They know what they are doing on embezzlement. This company is s*** I never signed any contract and took my money for a apartment that was never ready. The staff is so disorganized. Clean crime for taking money that doesn't belong to them. They will lie and promise u a apartment if u leave a security deposit. I was infuriating they kept giving me the rum around about a move in date. I confonted the staff and they canceled my application. I did not cancel my application as they canceled my application and wrongfully took my money. Obviously criminal on on consumer fraud. People don't have money to give away and take advantage of people's money not caring if they wrongfully rob people of of their money. This company should be shut down for being dishonest disorganized . I just need my money back and this company will create a UNJUSTICEInitial Complaint

My six children and I stayed in this complex three years with mold that they allowed to linger on making my children and myself sick constantly back in forth too hospital. While I reported to housing and the complex who procrastinate on removing the mold properly in a timely manner. While I called the fire department, city, and housing reporting this issue to housing as well. While the fire department expressed how dangerous it was. During the pandemic and even before the pandemic. ****** care or acted due to I feel I was discriminated against being that I am a housing client who really dive assistant. They take it as if its not that serious. I has to stay with family members because it was so bad while also loosing valuable items. The city would t come out because of the pandemic. While me and my children experience going back in forth to doctors family members house to keep from getting sick. I think that they should be sewed and that I should also receive my deposit of **** back that they are saying they didnt get because management was changed several times due to Misuse of funding causing confusion and management and staff not on the same page with one another. I would like to know where my money went and how many others this may have happen to. I would also like to receive my deposit back because I left it clean. Which it was not clean when I moved in garage was broken sinks sink in and water coming through electricity and light fixtures which was reported for hazardous that could cause fire and harm to my 6 children. I would like my deposit back is what I am asking and to know where it went.
