Honda We purchased a new Honda accord on July 4, 2023. We paid approximately 30k for the car + ttl + extended warranty. We were very excited about the car. When I took the car in for the first oil change In November I reported to ****, the service manager, that the car was shooting out 2 error messages that said: (1) lane keeping assist problem. See your dealer. And (2) Road departure mitigation error. Contact your dealer. It was not documented, just told to me that it would do that if it was too hot outside. The error messages continued and the back up camera would flicker to black/white. Pictures were sent as documentation of the issues. On April 29, I took it to the dealership. They returned in on May 2nd with paperwork that said **** assist operating as designed. When we got the car back, the issues continued to occur. New pictures were sent as documentation. We took the car back May 9-23. They replaced the radio and said that *** fix the issue and they could not keep the car any longer. The issues still have occurred. The backup camera the day we got it back, had regularly been on black/white. We have contacted corporate Honda who has up to this point had served as a mediator without solutions or concern about the safety of the passengers of the car. Today (6-20) corporate called and said that Honda of rockwall said we could bring the car back and come up there each day to recreate the code. They are not concerned with fixing our car.

On 6/25, she was waiting to hear from internal people at Honda Corporate. They are very busy.

In 6/27, Honda corporate called and said that the dealership (Honda of Rockwall) would not take the car because they cannot duplicate the error message and cannot fix the car. There is still no word from the internal people at corporate.

    7/8- left voicemail

    7/9-left voicemail

7/10-left voicemail, spoke to someone else and a supervisor will call back today.

7/10: spoke with supervisor *******, she is working with Honda rep and dealership on a path forward. She would return call Thursday or Friday

7/12- called to speak with *******, she was out of office

    7/17-left voicemail

7/18- called again to speak with *******. She was out of office and they did not know when he would return. When I spoke with Honda and they said the dealership will not accept the car. The cannot make the dealership take the car. They said that having a Honda rep is not an option. Honda is refusing to honor the standard warranty which we are still under. Additionally, we purchased the extended warranty that goes to 100k miles, which I have 0 faith in them honoring.

I went in to buy a wave runner to use specifically with the reck deck system. That was my number one requirement when purchasing. The sales guy assured me the Yamaha VX limited they had on the showroom floor was compatible and would 100 percent do what I needed. They also said since I'm a vet they were going to heavily "discount" the trailer I had to buy ($2500) for a dinky single trailer with tiny tires. Come to find out other dealers sell the same trailer for $1600 so they robbed me their also. So 23k later I buy the thing. Come to find out it's NOT compatible with the reck deck and it does not work for my intended purpose. They lied to get a sale. So I left a bad review on google. Now fast forward to today. I got a text saying my registration was ready for pickup. I go to the shop and after they all looked at me standing there for 10 minutes without asking me a single question I walk up to the sales guy and tell him I'm there for my registration. He shakes my hand and I kept my mouth shut at this point. He gets my trailer registration (not vessel) and begins to ask if the owner reached out to me. I said no he didn't. So he walked over to John Lawson the "sales manager" and asked if he knew if the owner was going to reach out. John's reply was "why would he? He left a bad review so why would we care" and told me to leave the store without even giving me the wave runner registration. So at this point I said what's your name? Your a sales manager and that's the way you talk to an unhappy customer? I asked to speak to the owner. He said I work directly underneath him and he would make you leave also. So again I said call him and have him tell me to leave so John calls the cops instead. I told him to let the officers know I'll be in the parking lot to talk to them when they arrived. So that's what I did. The cops had to go in and get my registration for me.
