I received the invoice attached in the mail two weeks ago. The last time my child was seen at this practice was October 2023. This is the first I have received notice that I had a charge on my account. It states it is due upon receipt, but *** never been notified of this charge previously. On 5/17 I called the phone number listed on the bill. I requested an explanation for the charge. I was told someone would call me back with the information. No one called me. Yesterday, I received another copy of the same bill in the mail. I called this morning and asked again for an explanation. I was told that my information could not be located and that all of the employees who have access to billing information work remotely and cant be contacted directly. After speaking with a supervisor, I was told she could not locate the invoice I received, but she could only find a $13 charge on my account and identified that charge was erroneous. I received an invoice after the call showing that $13 was adjusted from my account. I am uncertain whether or not there remains a $58.61 charge on my account. Im requesting assistance obtaining an explanation for this charge. I have spent about 2 hours on the phone over several days trying to resolve this with Austin Childrens Dentistry and they have been unable/unwilling to resolve the invoice I received in the mail. I am moving soon and want to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.

Detail of complaint AUSTIN CHILDREN'S DENTISTRY Dear Sir/*****,/I am writing to bring to your attention a concerning situation regarding the dental expenses incurred by my son under the ****************** life insurance coverage. On the visit date, which I believe was 8/25/2023, my wife took our son for a dental visit. Upon check-in, the registrar/Front desk informed us that our portion for each visit would be $52.20, and the remaining expenses would be covered by the insurance company. We deliberately inquired about the cost upfront to ensure clarity, and we were assured that $52.20 per visit was our responsibility.Subsequently, we made the required payment of $52.20 for each of the two visits, which were scheduled a week apart. The dental procedures were completed as communicated during the check-in.However, to our dismay, several months later, we were notified that the insurance company did not cover the expenses, and we are now required to pay the entire amount of $552.60. This has left us frustrated, as had we been informed accurately, we could have chosen a more cost-effective dentistry option. It is crucial to emphasize that this mistake lies with the dentistry's misinformation, and we should not be penalized due to their error. Feeling misinformed and concerned about the sudden change in the coverage information, we are hesitant to accept the responsibility for the full amount. It is disheartening to believe that we may have been misled and are now facing unexpected financial burdens.I kindly request your assistance in reviewing this matter and clarifying the discrepancies in the coverage information provided to us. Your prompt attention to this issue is greatly appreciated.Thank you for your understanding.************************* Describe what you would consider to be a fair resolution to your complaint.Since I m totally misinformed, The portion I paid which is $52.20 * 2 is fair enough for the treatment.I want to be cleared for the due which is $552.60
