            On January 23, 2023, I ordered the Extra Heavy Long Men's Coat size 3XL -4XL. First, the order took more than 18 days to be shipped to me. I sent emails and requested to cancel the order. However, I received the coat on February 17, 2023. That same day I submitted an email that the coat did not match the description as it advertised in the picture. The width and length measurement of the coat did not measure as 3XL or 4XL. I had to take pictures explaining why the coat was too small. I requested a full refund of $142, but Variety Plus Store refused to refund me.

            Business Response /* (1000, 9, 2023/03/22) */ Dear Sir or Madam, We were just informed today that the customer had filed a BBB complaint against our establishment. The customer submitted a return request on February 17, 2023 and the return department worked with the customer to resolve her claim. The customer claim was denied due to failure to return merchandise before the deadline date of March 8, 2023. With all due respect, we worked with the customer even though she was being untruthful about receiving a youth size 10 regular coat which is only made in adult size. I respectfully ask that you review our store return policy at *************************************************** Our return policy is provided to the customer prior to processing a claim. The following email was sent to the customer on March 20, 2023. Dear Customer Our records show that you submitted a return request claim on February 17, 2023 stating the following information: (I ordered the correct size Men 3 XL or 4XL but received a youth size 10 regular. Also, the material on the advertising picture does not match the material sent to me). Your account was reviewed and it showed that the merchandise you purchased was made in adult size only. On Saturday, February 18, 2023 you were asked to provide pictures of the merchandise and were given the deadline date of Tuesday, February 21, 2023 to submit the information. Once the information was received on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 our return department processed your request and provided you with the following return label (RMA ********** via email which also included mailing instructions shown below on Tuesday, February 28, 2023. 1. Pack all the returned items, along with a print off of your confirmation of purchase email, and a note specifying your RMA number securely in a box. You can use the box the items arrived in or another box if you prefer. 2. Go to local post office, or another courier, to ship the package. Return address for the package: VARIETY PLUS STORE ** Box *** ******** ** XXXXX 3. You will receive an email as soon as we have received your items, and when a refund is issued. The deadline date for your claim was then extended to March 8, 2023. On March 1, 2023 you contacted us stating that you were unable to print your return label (RMA #C0IBTG83). Your account was forwarded to our support team and they issued you an additional return label with a tracking number (XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX). Upon their review, your claim was denied due to merchandise not received by the deadline date of March 8, 2023. The return department sent you an email on March 13, 2023 advising you that your claim was denied and that you have until March 18, 2023 to request for your merchandise to be mailed back to you. If not, due to COVID restrictions all returned items will be destroyed within 5 days from the date of denial notice sent to the customer via email on file. For more detailed information about our return policy, please visit our website at ************************************************* Sincerely, Customer Service Consumer Response /* (2000, 11, 2023/03/22) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) Variety Plus Store took 18 days or more to send me the merchandise. I ordered the merchandise on January 23, 2023, and received it on February 17, 2023. The inventory was a scam; it looked nothing like the picture. Since February 17, 2023, I have been requesting a refund. They told me I had to wait for a return label from Variety Plus Store. On March 1, 2023, Variety Plus Store emailed me a pre-paid return label. The same day I used their pre-paid label to return their merchandise with a tracking number and proof of mailing date. Variety Plus Store keeps coming up with schemes to not refund me.
