    I moved in these apartments back in August. When I signed lease on our lease agreement, I was told we would have a peace officer on site and also a gated community. Since this company has failed to keep their obligation per there rental agreement (No peace officer and gate is broken have the time. We have had numerous of vehicles stolen and crimes. It is impossible to speak with the person in charge as she always has excuses. I have also asked to speak with their ******* manager. My car was stolen once, and the gate was not working. They attempted to take the car again yesterday during the day and again the gate was broken and no peace officer. I have cameras in the front door and the back because of this reason. I went to office yesterday and spoke with the lady in charge about this matter and asked about the broken gate. She mentioned the gate was not broken (Gate was broken for more than a week) As soon as I left no more than ten minutes the gate was up and running. We only have one way in and one way out to the apartments. As the back gate is locked. I have tried to speak with management about my concerns. Other tenants have the same concern but are afraid to speak up. I also have messages with manager with responses to these matters. Thank you praying I get some answers.

    We have had several issues in the past few months regarding someone vandalizing the gate and we have repaired each issue in a timely matter. Unfortunately, we arent able to control some of these issues, and there has also been an increase in crimes involving car break-ins around the area. In response to these events , we are currently in the process of increasing security measures. The well-being of our residents is our top priority and our goal is to ****** a safe community.

    I am rejecting this response because: They are all lies. Nothing gets fixed in a timely manner. The gate was just broken last week. They mentioned someone cut the cord. *********************** knows she has been made aware of installing a camera close to the gate as there is no surveillance. The gate was not shut for about 5 days. Knowing like they mentioned in there statements ( Has has been an increase of violence) Right now after the gate was fixed! It doesnt even close properly any one can walk thru it. I have been there for months and till now no peace officer. My question is to they fix things in a timely manner? I have been in this property more than six months. Is more than six months a timely manner. I also spoke with district manager the only reason I got a call back was because I sent an email to the company. Because after many attempts of getting ahold of her there was no call backs.They mentioned in an email that they anyone one under the age of 16 could not be in the pool that they must have an occupant over the age of 18 ( I respect this one) also that they have received a few complaints about kids cursing, smoking, writing the equipment and bulling others ( I can agree with some of this) if caught or names said they would receive a lease violation.My response was the following. How about reminders of the gate not working properly,How about the lies of not having a peace officer on site. Vehicles being vandalized and being stolen during the day and night. How about *** offender living on site. Drug dealers on site. How about poor management *********************** - Poor ******* and ******************** Never answer phone calls. The scott wants to scare me or other tenants by some emails. When the Scott does not follow their contract by having a peace officer a working gate. So who gives residents discounts when they vehicles get stolen or vandalized. *********************** gets upset when residents make her aware of all these concerns. But get upset when residents no longer want to pay rent. Then that is a problem ? But the Scott has failed on all amenities they have promised and that are on the contract. Funny there emails state this protects the safety of our residents. Question? All the above I have listed not important to protect the safety of residents? The scott and there management from *********************** to ******* and district are aware of all that is going on. If they really cared about the safety of residents. All listed above would be a priority as well. It is sad that such a large company like NRP group does not care about the safety of the residents at The Scoot at Medio Creek. All these managers choose to keep their eyes blind and there ears closed with all these concerns. But all the above has been notated by me with dates, times, emails. I pray that we do not have any fatal totalities in these premises because they choose not to care. I am not asking for anything for free. I pay my rent on time and have all my money orders and copies they have given me in the front office and still have a 300 charge that I have been asking to be removed. But again *********************** and the team cant fix a simple problem like this and its been months. But claim they fix everything else in a timely manner? All I am asking for is what the contract states and what they have mentioned about a peace officer. I am not failing here again I pay my rent on time. They have failed so why not refund all tenants some of what they have paid as they are wrong for not keeping up with there contract.
