I had to use the company through a warranty company. I filed a GE refrigerator concern on 11/6/23. To date, only one visit stated it is a compressor fan requiring replacement. Follow-up has been non-existent with this company, and repair has not been completed. When reaching out to the state, the part is not in their stock, and the part cost exceeds authorization. Now, wouldn't you think if you know the part you need and request repair authorization, you would ensure to communicate the appropriate cost to the warranty company to have complete authorization for the repair? On Monday, I was told I would hear from them regarding the status of authorization- zero communication. Speaking with the warranty company, ****'s Appliances has not requested any additional cost authorization or communicated any concerns. The repair was authorized on 11/15/23.Review from Donald V

I paid about 300 extra for the washer dryer insurance on my appliance from Lowes. Well, my washer has been making a odd clicking sound, so the insurance company sent out these people. Well, they came out and literally did nothing. They came out on Thursday let them hear the video of the noise the man asked if overload it like an idiot because obviously I look like an imbecile who's never owned a washer of my own my whole adult life. I explained how much clothes I put in the washer and the man called another man and said they were probably going to put in a ticket to replace the clutch and if not, the insurance company would send out a replacement voucher. They said they would call me Friday about the outcome. I said great called Friday and still no response they said they would call me Monday. Monday afternoon I received an email from the insurance company stating that my repairs had been completed. What??? When?? So, I called the company who had been assigned. The secretary who answered said to hold on as she checked, she came back on the line and told me that they had established that there was nothing wrong with the washer that the issue was due to me overloading the washer. I have been doing my own laundry since I was 17 and owning my own washer since I was 22. So not only did they mislead me on what they were going to do to resolve the issue, but they didn't even have the professionalism to call me about the issue. Not an email. Nothing. They didn't call me personally due to the fact that they wanted to avoid the conversation. I know how to load a washer and I would have saved myself the embarrassment or waste of time and just not overload the washer lol and the problem would have been solved lol.... but it's not solved because I'm not overloading, and the problem persist.Review from David g.

I would never recommend this company. They made several trips with the same tech who had to have support on speakerphone the entire time. I called the owner to try and ask for a resolution as we went several months back and forth. The owner was rude and confrontational and refused to provide any assistance. Went with another company and they fixed it ten minutes. The motor they replaced was not hooked up properly. Worst appliance experience ever.Review from M. S.

Awful customer ********************** and lack of attention to actual diagnosis of the problem with our refrigerator. First, we were told that they come to outside SA (we are about 1 hour away) but found out later that it is for only twice/month and no exceptions. Although this was not disclosed to us initially until after they wanted their initial visit fee of $200 before they even schedule a visit. After two weeks, the tech (*******) showed up and did not do any routine diagnosis to determine the problem area, but found out the condenser fan blade was broken. He though that could be the source of our problem w/ref not cooling, but had no parts and will have to come back in two weeks. Meanwhile, we notice water under the unit and in frustration, I ordered the blade, replaced it and tighten the loose water line that he had left behind. Communicated this to **** that fact that fan did not solve the problem, He though it could be compressor/relay and he would go ahead and order them for next visit two weeks later Aug.30th. Tech calls on that day and tells me he has no parts and doesn't know anything about compressor etc. He wanted to cancel the appointment but after waiting so long, we insisted that he should come and bring his tools to do a real diagnosis to determine the problem area. he agreed to do so and we waited and waited even after receiving auto messages that he would be here in ***** min, but no show after two hours. The customer ********************** was no help at all and none of the tech numbers go through and he did not return calls after leaving messages. Very frustrating with lack of customer ********************** and attention to details. We ended up cancelling the whole appointment and sought a different outfit which came next day, fixed the problem in one hour. To his credit, **** did refund out fee. We would not recommend this outfit due to our bad experience.Mike's Appliance Service Response

It was explained that we go out to your area every other week, our calls are recorded. They did not cancel service, we did. Our diagnosis that was made with the fan, was correct, that is what we found wrong. Customer is the one that thought they had a bad compressor. The day of service, it was explained in the morning, that they would be seen in the afternoon. Throughout the day she kept calling demanding to be first on the schedule. After the fifth call, that is when it was determined that a refund would be given. Sometimes it's not the company, but the customer. We have the right to refuse ********************** to anyoneCustomer Response

As I had said previously. This outfit conducts business in a very suspicious and legalistic way by asking for money upfront before scheduling appointment and then recording all conversations. And if you don't want recording, it will ask you to hang up. Second, they never performed any sort of diagnosis to determine the problem period. The fan blade was not a diagnosis - you see it broken and fallen apart. After I replaced it myself and it did not solve the problem. I had told them that I suspected compressor/relay might be the problem, but they never diagnosed to find out the real root cause and they kept saying it might be low freon and that would cost over $1300 plus parts. I am certain, they were going to replace the compressor/relay and it would have turned out not to be the problem, and then blamed it on customer for wanting to replace them (of-course recorded). I am glad we/they cancelled and we ended up fixing the problem with a qualified repair outfit (BTW out of town) in one day and less expensive. You certainly have the right to refuse service, and I guess I have to thank you for that because it worked out better for us at the end. Not a contractor I would do business or recommend.
