They need to learn to take responsibility for their mistakes. They believe it's always the customer's fault. Our moving truck was in a large crash that damaged most of our belongings. They were hired as "inspectors" by Mayflower to go over damage and provide a ********* initial complaint was that they never answered/returned our phone calls. Their response was total denial - they said they've called us to schedule appts. (but only when Mayflower would tell them to call us). It's wild that they think they are unbiased - they're hired and paid by the moving company. They refused to provide us a copy of their ************* have an incentive to claim furniture is repairable. They insisted we give them the value of each item before coming up with a repair amount. When we asked them how do we know they aren't going to manipulate the repair costs based on the value, they said "well, we just wouldn't do that."After most of your belongings are damaged, getting a quick settlement is important. It's been three months since the accident and we haven't received a settlement yet, largely due to their *************** took them THREE inspections to review our items when it should've taken one. The second inspection they didn't have the updated list of our items to review from our movers. Even though we had a copy, they refused to use it because it didn't come directly from the movers. After that failed inspection, they straight up lied and told the movers they weren't able to go over all of our belongings because of "privacy issues" - a totally made up reason. After the third inspection, it took them 3 weeks to produce the final report. Another family on the same truck used a different company in ONE inspection and the report was complete in 1 week. They called us after they saw my review and tried to gaslight us. We told them we would consider updating our review if they provided a fair and honest final report. Somehow they took that as us expecting an altered report.

Dear Mrs. ***************** are disappointed to read your review and feel compelled to address the inaccuracies presented.

We promptly returned every call you made to **. In fact, we can provide phone records to substantiate our communication history, which contradicts your claims. The scheduling of inspections was coordinated based on dates provided by you to your adjuster, and we strictly followed those instructions to ensure effective communication.

Your case involved an extensive inspection of over 300 items. Completing such a detailed evaluation cannot be rushed if accuracy and fairness are to be maintained. It's important to note that during the inspections, there were delays due to missing items and lack of organization on your part, which hindered the process.

We received all necessary information directly from the moving company, including the official claims forms we are required to use. While you had copies, we must adhere to the documents provided by the movers to maintain compliance and ensure the accuracy of your claim.

Requesting the value of each item is a standard procedure essential for providing precise repair estimates to the moving company. Suggesting that we might manipulate repair costs based on these values is unfounded and disregards our professional integrity.

Per company policy and industry regulations, we cannot provide the inspection report directly to customers. Our responsibility is to submit the report to the moving company, who will then communicate the findings to you. Accusations of us withholding information are misleading.

We contacted you after reading your review to address your concerns and clarify any misunderstandingsnot to "gaslight" or manipulate the situation. It's unfortunate that our attempt to resolve the issues was misinterpreted. Additionally, we have a voicemail from you requesting changes to the report in exchange for removing your negative review. This suggests an attempt to influence the outcome unfairly, which we find concerning.
