    I hired them to update landscaping in my yard. Initial work was completed Jun 2023. Owner request to change work from contracted agreement. Mulch instead of replacing all my rocks and he would return 3-4 times by the end of 2023 to treat for weeds commercial grade products. No treatments were done in 2023. Ive had 2 treatments in 2024. I text him repeatedly for a month or more before he schedules for treatment and many text go unanswered until after I send several asking for a response or update. Id like a refund for whatever is a fair amount of two treatments so I can hire another company. Many of the problems with the weeds are secondary to areas that were left uncovered under the rocks with the tarp that was supposed or be placed. The yard looks nearly as bad as it did when I initially hired him, it lasted less than 6 months, he hasnt completed everything he was paid to do and Ill need to find a reliable company to come and redo the work. Not at all satisfied with the work or the customer service.

    Firstly, please forgive the tardiness of this response.

     

    I apologize that you feel you were not given the service that you were looking for, however, in the contract, it was never stated that we would provide treatment for your landscaping. ****, the project manager, agreed verbally to provide that service for you at no cost and it was for the duration of the year.

     

    I have included a copy of the contract that was agreed upon when this job initiated. We also have a record of the texting traffic between yourself and ****.

     

    As for receiving a refund for this service, as stated before, the treatment was at no cost to you, and therefore we cannot refund.

     

    The amount that was charged was for the actual landscaping.

    Complaint: 21458139

    I am rejecting this response because: the contract was altered by ****. He called me outside on day two I believe and stated he underestimated the job, he requested to adjust to add the mulch areas and the treatments to prevent the regrowth. With the verbal agreement, the change included mulch and treatments instead of replacing all the rocks, which means I was paying for the treatments. Initially 2, but increased after my initial concerns less than a couple weeks after the job was completed. The mulch agreement is also mentioned in my text messages. Only one treatment was completed by Dec 23 because it takes a month for a response. If you do not acknowledge the verbal agreement, then the contract was breeched with the installation of the mulch.  The work was not completed as stated in the contract in the areas where rock remains. Since we went out to pull the weeds when my last request for treatment was ignored, then we are able to see multiple areas where new weed fabric was never placed and other areas where they just placed it over the rocks and then placed more rocks on top, but with gaps between the fabric which is where a good majority of the weeds are growing I paid a good amount for those rocks and the main reason they were to be removed, new fabric placed and then rocks replaced, not rocks covered. After seeing this, a full refund except the rock border and grass should be provided even though not all areas were covered with sod as requested.
