NEVER BUY USED from this dealership, they gloss over any work done and sell you at a rate and cost that is not much better (maybe even worse!) than buying new, and won't do a thing to help you should the previous "repairs" be lacking.Northside Chevrolet Response

I was a big fan of this dealership Northside ***** took care of me when buying a ***** and I was expecting the same when dealing with Northside Chevrolet. However unfortunately I had a bad experience at this dealership and will not be coming back to any Northside dealership again. I went in for a quote for my vehicle to sell and after an hour and a half got my quote. I was told I had a week think about it by the salesman there. I texted the salesman about a week later and told him I was ready to sell. We agreed on an amount over text which was the amount they offered. They tried to lower the price by 1k but I told them you just gave me this quote. The salesman told me that we were set and to come in so I did. About an hour later when I showed up I waited for over an hour and a half only for my salesman to hide in the back while the manager came out and told me they were lowering their offer 5k from their original price. I guess they thought if they hid the guy who gave me the quote and told me I had a week to decide, let them justify the fact they were not going to honor their quote. I tried explaining that I was just given this quote and it the salesman just agreed to the amount over text and that they should honor that amount. He said that because it was a new inventory manager that they didnt have to honor the deal anymore even if they agreed over text. I tried explaining every way I could that this was not okay and Im not asking anything crazy just honor the quote that Northside ***** gave me. They told me that they were not going to budge so I ended up wasting over 3 hours of my time just to be yanked around by a shady dealership. I would recommend going somewhere else. Even the salesman after I left told me over text that I was right. Its a shame when your own employees knew they were in the wrong.Review from Cameron C

I called this dealership today 5/31/2024 about a truck that I intended to purchase, sight unseen without driving or visiting the dealership. I do not live in *****, but planned to fly in and pick up the truck after the purchase was complete. I spoke with ****** the online sales manager at 11am and discussed a purchase price of $31,913.31. We came to an agreement and he sent me the link for the application. After I filled out the application and ran my credit, he called me back only to find that he had more in the truck than what he was charging me and had to adjust the price to a higher amount. This was all after we had already agreed on a price. The new price was $33,829.80, an increase of $1916.49. I then asked him to honor the agreed upon price, which he refused. After asking to speak the *** a *********************************, I was given the run around and never received a call. I called back several times throughout the day to discuss the issue and how unethical that it was, but no one would answer the phone or call me back. This is clearly a bait and switch and should be recognized as that. All I wanted was for them to admit the mistake and honor the price that we agreed to.After reading several reviews, it seems that the management at this dealership do not know how to handle conflict and would rather ignore the customer than address the issue. Ill be sending a complaint to the BBB, even though theyre not accredited and also with *************** Hopefully this review will fend off others with this dealerships shady practices.Review from Raymond P

*** purchased over 20 vehicles in my life, and the backend of dealing with the dealership is the worst, BY FAR! They have poor customer service, ********************* (a manager) is one of the worst people ever in a mgmt position in terms of customer service. I had a simple request: have finance contact me about the refund Im owed (roughly $6000). It was a simple request to make sure there were no unexpected surprises or errors. When I pointed out to him the terms of the contract agreement, AND the documents they sent me to fill out, he hung up on me in frustration. Very condescending and constantly kept talking over me. I simply pointed out that Im being proactive and making sure things are smooth so we dont end up in mediation because of a dispute. No vulgar language or profanity. Instead, he decided to be argumentative and rude. Im encouraging ALL OF MY MILITARY FAMILY TO AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COSTS! All they want to do is get your money and get u out the door. Yes, I bought a C8, so this is t someone upset with their car. This is strictly in reference to how they treat their customers! Ive had better customer service at ******** DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM THEM!Review from Shawn N

Very deceitful and dishonest dealership. I made it very clear when I began negotiations, I would be financing through my bank and there will be no down payment. I was purchasing the vehicle 8 hours away and upon agreement, they sent me a breakdown of our agreement. I read it over, called them back and told them to send the deal sheet to my bank and I would make plans to drive down an pick up the vehicle. When I arrived, I checked everything out with the vehicle and was ready to complete the transaction (Everything was good up to this point, that is why the two stars. From this point, I would put it in the negative stars) and a manager came up to us and said, "OK, how are your going to pay your $3750 down payment?". The salesman acknowledged I was not putting a down payment on the vehicle and the "out the door" price is the number I agreed upon. They continued that the deal sheet they sent to my bank included it. They never sent me the deal sheet they sent my bank with the extra $3750. They reduced my "down payment" to $2750 as a good will gesture. The ** called me a few days later asking "what can we do to make this right, I want you to be happy doggonit". I told him to refund my $2750. He quickly said he would look into and hung up. Has never called me back. Been over a week. I have called 3 times. Left a message. Never called me back. Be very careful doing business with this dealership. I am certain I received the car salesman salute as I drove off to get a tube of preparation H for the **** job I just received.Review from Jacob E

Terrible offered them $25,000 down said they could do nothing. Also add waste of my time and lost my drivers license and blamed it on me. I speak to the manager multiple times and they refused to put me on the phone with him.Review from Rami Q.

I took my vehicle for an oil change and a front passenger air bag recall on a Saturday at 9am. I dropped the vehicle at 9:10 and by 12pm I checked and was told the vehicle should be ready by now. It turns out they forgot to replace the airbag and it should take 45 mins. At 2:15 the vehicle wasnt ready yet. at 2:45pm the car was ready. when I stepped into the car, it turned out that someone decided to turn the ** on full blow, since the vehicle was setting under the sun for a while, i received full blast of hot air in my face which was really annoying as to why would someone tamper with my ** setting. and it was a huge discomfort for me as I wear medical contact lenses that could have melted from the heat blown from the ** vent directly in my face. I also noticed that they forgot to remove the old tag from the windshield and replace it with a new tag showing next service mileage/date. and most surprising thing is that the front dashboard was badly broken. I know that most ***** SUVs have line cracks in their dashboards due to vibration over the years, but mine was just a visible line crack, not broken at all. I informed the service agent of my findings and since it was almost 3 pm on a Saturday, he said he will email his manager to look into it. The service department failed to inspect the vehicle prior to replacing the airbag in order to inform me that the process may cause the dashboard to break so I can be aware and if I agree then we should all be fine. Over the next 2 weeks I attempted to get an update from the service agent but his response was he already forwarded my issue to upper management and no response yet. The 2 weeks after that I attempted to call the service department and left 5 messages, 4 for service manager and 1 to the general manager with no response. I had a missed call from service manager yesterday and I tried to call him back 3 times right after and informed the front desk that he just called me and again left messages with no response.Review from Joshua C

The biggest issue with this service department was the time it took for an oil change and tire rotation, 5 HOURS, but I have listed all the details below.Pros:-Service was completed -Service consultant was pleasant Cons:-Timing It took this service department from 10:15 am to 3:15 pm, 5 HOURS, to complete an oil change and tire rotation. I scheduled my appointment online and was told when I arrived that it might take up to 3.5 hours. I was not happy but needed the oil change today and assumed it might include something like a basic exterior wash for the time. At the 4-hour ****, I called the service department to get an update. After a few moments of not being able to find my car, I was told to give them another 1.5 hours to complete the service.-Price When scheduling my appointment online, the dealership was offering a coupon for $29.95 + tax. The only fine print, directly from the coupon, was, Tire balancing, tax, and more than 6 quarts of oil extra.. Since I did not see a line item for tire balancing or more than 6 quarts of oil, I asked why I was being charged $12.89 more than the coupon, before tax. I was told that prices have gone up and they could not honor the coupon price. If that is the case, the coupon needs to be removed from the website.-ShuttleI advised the service department I would be waiting there for my car. It was at that point they offered a shuttle, via Lyft, within 10 miles of the dealership. I opted to take them up on the offer, but just across the highway to the mall. At 4.5 hours, I ended up walking back to the dealership since my phone was about to die so there was no way I would be able to coordinate the shuttle back between the dealership and Lyft. At the time of payment, I see a charge for, Incidental Reimbursement in the amount of $5.67. I can only assume this was for the shuttle service they would take care of within 10 miles.-Lack of attention to detail When I received the ****, I noticed a charge of just over $22Review from isaac h

The worst service ever! Not only did they not fix my car when they said, they still have it after 22 day, it's now going on a month. On May 5th Service representative said it was the transmission and that it needed to be replaced. But also stated that they couldn't determine if that was the problem but assured me that the certified mechanic stated that the transmission was the problem. The service technician stated that it would take 1 day to remove and replace the transmission with a new one. She said it would be shipped overnight. That was 2 weeks ago. Everytime i do a follow up call to check on status it is a different excuse. 1. May 9th The certified mechanic was sick couldnt work on car for 3 days. 2. The certified mechanic is the only one that can work on my car. 3. On May 13th, I called the service representative. The car will be ready on May 16th. 4. Called on May 16th service representative said they're still working on it, the car would be ready no later than May 19th. 5. Call on May 19th, asked the service representative at what percentage was the car in 20%, 50% in state of repair, he stated it just went into the service bay, maybe at 50% repair, asked to have someone call be back for an update. Received call back and service representative apoligized for the ****, stating the car would be ready on May 23rd.6. Received a call from service representative, said car would be ready by late on the May 25 or no later than May 26 7. Called today 27th, service representative stated the car would be ready this coming Saturday May28th. Not satisfied, I called back and asked to talk to the Service manager for Northside Chevrolet. Got a voice mailbox. Left message and asked for a call back.8. Got a call back from Service manager, he states its the Memorial day holiday, car won't be ready till May 31!If I don't get my car back this coming 5/31/22. Im addressing this to the *********************** of *****. Contacting an attorney to see what my option are.
