Transaction dates : May24, 2023 $373.11, July17, 2023 $45.00, July21, 2023 $115.00 Authorized initial Payment for parts and services on May 24th, ended up taking the car back due to faulty sparkplugs that were diagnostically checked by Advanced Auto parts, shop stated that the parts were warrantied but after the vehicle was dropped off I got a call from the mechanic stating that taking the car to get it checked elsewhere voided the warranty of the shops work, stating that someone else had worked on the vehicle which wasn't the case, all that was done was the diagnostic which gets checked in the cab of the vehicle and no work was done to the engine itself, so the mechanic ***** stated he was going to speak to his boss, so after an hour passed I called back and he stated to come get the vehicle, at the point of arriving at the shop ***** proceeded with an explanation that was completely fabricated stating that he found half a s**** that was in the first cylinder and could have done major damage to my engine as well as stating that the stabilizer bolt was also broken from the last shop that worked on my car, well as I stated in the beginning of the complaint I went to Advanced auto parts which is not a full service garage and will only perform a simple diagnostic. Which leads to my next and most infuriating complaint which is that this employee blatantly lied about the half s**** and the stabilizer bolt because the day before I was the person who accidentally broke the bolt and upon inspecting my vehicle saw that the piece of the broken bolt had been extracted. After confronting ***** of the Lie he had no further comments and handed me my key fob. Add info: Never given Itemized Receipt after multiple request's

    Tell us why here...5/24/23
Customer, ***************************, brought his 2014 ****** Juke in with the complaint of rough idle and lack of power. After diagnosis vehicle was recommended to have all four spark plugs and ignition coils replaced. Customer approved only spark plugs and one ignition coil.

****************** returned 7/17/23 with same complaint. After re-diagnosis, vehicle was found with no sign of engine oil on dipstick and still requiring remaining three ignition coils. Customer was informed and declined any work. Upon picking up vehicle customer was encouraged to purchase engine oil for vehicle before attempting to leave with vehicle, which he did.

Customer returned again on 7/23/23 With same problem with vehicle's lack of power. Customer stated to have had vehicle diagnosed elsewhere and was told that spark plugs were faulty. Again upon re-diagnosis tech saw evidence of work done to components previously worked on and had broken piece of bracket bolt found in cylinder one. Tech determined that while one additional ignition coil had been replaced, the remaining two needed to be replaced. Customer was informed of possible damage  to engine from bolt piece and diagnosis. Customer was informed that with evidence of work done to components previously worked on by shop, the warranty had been voided. If work was to be approved and/or spark plugs to be replaced under warranty, labor would have to be paid again. Upon customer complaint owner was consulted and it was decided that diagnostic fee from previous event would be credited to current bill if approved. Customer approved spark plug warranty but  not of ignition coil replacement.

Customer received itemized payment receipts upon each pickup of vehicle.
