9-6-22 I received an estimate from Mr ******************** electrician for $1467.00 for 3 jobs. 1 dedicated circuit 20a120v in master bedroom for $635.00. 1 circuit extension 20a120v in office room for $283.00. 1 dedicated circuit w gfci protection my master bath for $549.00. 09-08-22 the electrician completed the first two jobs. The gfci circuit for $549.00 was not done. No other work was done. Upon payment the electrician attempted to charge me for all 3 jobs. He said the final price was $1467.00 the same as the estimate with all 3 jobs. I asked if the gfci job had been removed. He said it yes he removed it. I said that amount cant be right. He said - ok I am beginning to doubt myself here. I showed him the estimate and he said oh good catch on that and that he would delete the third job he had accidently left on the invoice. He had a lot of trouble trying to do this. He kept saying I dont know what I am doing. He then said it would cost $1384.00. I again asked if he had removed the work not completed since the price was still so high and did not match the estimate. He said yes he had removed it. I was not able to see the invoice breakdown on the iPad. He said he would email a copy to me later. The screen I signed did not show a breakdown of the work done. I just wanted him gone. He seemed to be having trouble with the iPad technology. Once the invoice was emailed to me I can see where I was overcharged. I was charged $835.00 for the $635.00 job and $549.00 for the $283.00 job. The $549.00 price was the price for the gfci work that was not done. I called ***** at Mr ********************* who seems to be in management, and she said she could not help me because she did not know what work was done. I could only speak to the technician who came out. I questioned this since she stated she had copies of the estimate and invoice where you could clearly see what was done. I attempted to dispute the issue with my credit card but they are unable to do anything since I signed the invoice.
