Around May 15th 2023 I dropped my car off to be looked at and worked on , 2016 ******* Sonata SE, I had a miss fire in Cylinder 3 , I mentioned to them that it had low compression, They text the problem to me not called, I called them back to talk about my car problem, ****** said his technician said one Injector is hung open causing it to dump fuel into the cylinder, causing a slippage causing my low compression, he recommended all injectors be replaced for $xxxx, I questioned the diagnostic due to my own mechanical background, I then said ok do it , June 6th I get a text agin from Franks automotive, I called to discuss, They said all injectors have been replaced but no improvement, They recommended a head valve job , I strongly agreed cause now it was making sense to me,I gave them the ok to fix it , July 17th I get a text that my car is ready and running great $3592.48 is your total, I go to pay and pick up my car and it was running worse than when I dropped it off,had no acceleration was miss firing still and cut off twice , I took it back they said they would look at it , August 7th another text I called ************************ asked me some questions regarding my car, I asked whats wrong now , he said my entire engine was no good now, That it gave out after they fixed it and got it running right , said engine couldnt handle it no more , I questioned all of it , Its not making sense, I asked for the owner and for the owner to then call me since he wasnt there. On March 2nd of 2023 I was charged $441.93 for an air conditioning recharge on my car and an oil leak inspection. The shop purported to have done the work, but when I took the vehicle somewhere else to check their work they found that the air conditioning hadn't been worked on or recharged. I am rejecting this response because:

As seen on the receipt I was charged for both diagnostics and repairs, so at the very least *****'s Automotive just caught themselves in the lie that they weren't asked to make any repairs. Beyond that, it doesn't take a mechanic to tell you if the **** or oil is leaking. The simplest test they could have ran to check for leaks would have utilized dye as well and left something in the system when it was charged as is reflected on the receipt from *****'s Automotive, but after having taken it to ********* it was clear that *****'s neither ran the diagnostics or made the repairs that they claimed.

There are three charges on this receipt. One of which *****'s Automotive just blatantly admitted was a fraudulent charge by saying they never made any repairs which would include the recharge of an **** system that I was still charged for. Furthermore, thorough inspection from a professional mechanic proved in a second report that was provided in this complaint that the diagnostics were not ran on my **** system either. Clearly, *****'s took my car, parked it in their shop, took a picture, and claimed to have worked on it, charging me upwards of $400 for a picture and phony report. I expect nothing less than a refund in full.

    Regards,
