On 09/22/2023 I enrolled with Coach Financing after completing a demo. I was very clear that I was Canadian and my clients are Canadian and they did a zoom style demo with me showing me a platform/portal to help secure funding for my clients to purchase my services. On 09/25/2023 my portal was live and I immediately emailed them saying I do not see any Canadian addresses or activity. They responded by sending me a link which just looks like a low-quality phishing version of loanconnect.ca’s application and they slapped my logo on it. They charged me enrolment fees and monthly fees. I’ve had zero applicants get approved, and when I asked to cancel, they told me that my portal has been upgraded and said they’ll drop my price in half. But for what? I asked about this portal multiple times via email and then they said “sorry for the miscommunication” and tell me all I’m paying for is a link and a weekly email that is delayed between applications and that I in no way shape or form have any access to help support the lending or loan application process. For zero dollars and zero cents I can just send my clients to the exact same link from loan connect’s website and it will do the exact same thing. The company is a scam. You are paying for a phishing link. This can’t be legal. That’s like paying for a link to see a video on their website with the pitch that this video is exclusive and in some way only available to those who pay for it, and it turns out that is on YouTube for free, and the link redirects you to YouTube! I’ve been misrepresented twice! It was to the point where they changed my address from Calgary, Alberta, CANADA to some address in TEXAS, USA and brushed it off when I asked about it. This wasn’t what I paid for. They don’t have access to a Canadian platform. They’re selling a link. A link that just redirects. I spent $495USD ($652 CAD) + $49USD ($65 CAD) for 3 months before they went to $29USD ($39 CAD) when I asked to cancel.

On October 30, I joined the coaching finance program where they promised to help you provide other financing options for your client with a high success rate of clients getting funding for your program or high ticket coaching program. I had 20 people looking to apply out of the 20 10 felt comfortable with the possibility of the terms outlined on the website website out of those 10 two actually applied and were denied. After running this trial, I decided on November 17 that this program did not make a good fit for my high ticket coaching program clients I sent a request for a cancellation and refund and received no reply I was then again charged $49 on November 28 we are continued to reach out in multiple different forms of contact to say I wanted my membership canceled and refunded The company is refusing to honor their 30 back day money guarantee and is saying that I am past the 30 day grace period which is untrue as I contacted them first on November 17 and then again on November 28. My bank account was charged October 30 for $495 as that is when we started our relationship with this company. The overall quality of the website was very poor. They literally just duplicated a version of their website and put a very low quality version of my logo in the top left corner provided a very basic member area where not much information or tracking was provided. Again any applicant that did apply was denied and there was a 0% success rate with their program. As I made a complaint, they closed my account, and I can no longer show proof that I have a 0% success rate with applications because I am locked out of any portal. I had. I am very dissatisfied with the overall experience and highly do not recommend to any high ticket coach businesses as this seems more of a gimmick or scam you could easily direct your clients into getting a 0% interest, credit card or personal loan at no expense to you from hundreds of other online services again I would not recommend Coach financing.

Ms. **** enrolled her business, ************* Inc, into the Coach Financing Essential program at 3:07pm (CST) on Thurs, 10/26/2023, as a referral from one of our affiliates. The Coach Financing fulfillment team created and sent her user credentials to access her merchant portal at 6:11pm the same day, including training resources on how to use the portal. On 10/28/2023, a team member called and left a voicemail to ensure that she had received the request to login to her merchant portal on 10/28/2023. On 11/3/2023, a team member sent a follow-up email with a guide of best practices for having her customers apply with an offer and to schedule training with our team if she needed additional assistance. Her first and only applicants applied on 11/2/2023 and 11/3/2023 and received no offers. In response to the few applicants that applied, we sent her an email 11/20/2023 with information on how to present financing as an option to her customers so that she could hopefully get more applications submitted, explaining that consumer financing statistically sees 50% of applicants receive offers but more applicants would be needed for those statistics to work out.
As no additional communications were received from Ms. **** or any ************* representatives when the 30-Day Refund window passed (screenshot of affiliate payout from 10/26 attached), our billing team paid commission to the affiliate that referred ************* Inc. The commission processed on 11/30/2023, which is the same day that Ms. **** first emailed our support with a request to cancel and demand a refund of her enrollment fee. Because an affiliate commission had already been paid, our billing team could only offer a partial refund of her enrollment cost and the first month of her recurring subscription ($49.95, which occurred 30 days after her initial enrollment). Our team also offered for her to continue utilizing our platform for an additional 90 days free of cost. Instead of accepting this free offer, she stated that she would contact her bank to dispute charges and write a review on our BBB profile.
We are happy to refund Ms. **** the amount that remains from her enrollment, but what she has stated would result in her having paid $495, getting $495 refunded, her affiliate being paid $200 from Coach Financing, and then her credit card company disputing the charge of $495 later, putting Coach Financing at a net loss of $695 for services delivered within our stated policies and expectations. Ensuring customers who were referred do not refund within our 30-Day Refund window, so that we can pay their affiliate for their referral from retained revenue, is important to the integrity of our affiliate program. We hope our previous offers can still allow a resolution to Ms. Sazo's case.
