    I am writing to file an official complaint against The Colony Apartments regarding a severe ***** infestation issue and their refusal to refund the remainder of my deposit totaling to $50 upon lease termination. I believe their actions are in violation of both their responsibilities as a landlord and my rights as a tenant. Firstly, I want to highlight the dire situation I faced while residing at The Colony Apartments. Over the course of my tenancy, I have encountered a severe ***** infestation within my unit. The infestation has caused significant distress, inconvenience, and health concerns. I decided to terminate my lease due to the ongoing infestation and unsatisfactory living conditions. According to the terms outlined in my lease agreement, I am entitled to the return of my security deposit, provided that the unit is left in good condition. However, they have failed to refund the remainder of my security deposit even after 7 months of my move out date. I have attempted to resolve this matter amicably by engaging in multiple discussions which are shown in the files attached. Despite my efforts, The Colony Apartments has shown a lack of responsiveness and failed to resolve the situation. I firmly believe that the actions of The Colony Apartments not only demonstrate a disregard for tenants rights and a breach of contractual obligations but also raise concerns about the overall management practices and the living conditions within their property. I have video evidence of the ***** infestation and have attached files of my discussions with the apartment complex. Please feel free to contact me if you require any additional information.     We allowed the resident to move at no penatly because she was unhappy with her move in. The unit was not clean to our standards upon move out. ******* disputed the cleaning charge and I agreed to take it off her account even though we have an invoice that the apartment was cleaned by our cleaners. We had to revise her deposit accounting and take off the charge in which it takes some time for my corporate office to do so. We have worked with ******* as much as possible and she is getting her deposit back. My corporate office notified me they already processed her $50 and it should be in mail in the next couple days.
