ABC Professional Tree Services was recently hired by our power company, ********, to clear the tree line facing the power lines near our home in Vienna, VA. I just want to take a moment to commend them for the outstanding job they did. From start to finish, their team worked with impressive coordination, demonstrating both skill and efficiency. They were not only highly professional but also incredibly polite and communicative, ensuring that we understood the scope of their work and any necessary details. Horrible company. Trimmed trees along my road, cut wires left a mess. I called and left a message with an exceptionally rude receptionist to speak to a supervisor. Noone returned my call and then I was unable to call back (it appears my number was blocked). I had to call my city offices to fix the damage to the wires. The company is very unprofessional and hopefully will not be contracted by the city in my area again. Would not reccomend.

ABC GF Ramiro met with the customer last week. There were some low hanging phone wires that branches got snugged on. We spoke with Dominion Forestry sup., he went out to site and confirmed that we had not done anything wrong. I have attached Ramiro note below. "It's being taken care of. There was no brush on the ground. The low cable .Is an old telephone line that got lower when we finished Trimming the tree. The city and Dominion came by said everything was fine. That we are not responsible for low cable lines. Lady still upset. But nothing I can do about it.." Respectfully, ABC Professional Tree Services, Inc.

Tore down my mailbox. Trimmed trees to 8 feet without leaving any branches thus killing 35 year old decorative trees on private property more than 15 feet from a electric line. Left the branches blocking my driveway and piles in my dogs lead area. My dog got tangled and hurt her leg. It's been a week and a half and ABC has not picked up the branches yet.

I myself have reached out twice (2/10 & 2/14) and left a voicemail for Ms. Gabourel to call me back so I may get more information regarding her review. I had our general foreman who works in Woodville (zip 75979) reach out to her & he did several times. He too has never received a return call. Without additional information we are not able to investigate and address her concerns. I have sent her an email today in the hope she will respond or call.

As the other two reviewers have mentioned ABC is contracted by multiple energy companies to provide vegetation control. As many reviewers on google point out, their vegetation controls is destruction of all plants. Also with little regard to your property. At our property ABC workers drove on our lawn without warning, conversation, or notice. End result is damage water infrastructure, sprinklers, and landscaping. Leaving deep ruts in lawn as well. Repairs are not a solution to poor work execution. ABC should engage with the property owners to ensure a well executed vegetation control with zero damage to properties. Their workers show little regard to the properties that they work on due to lack of communication and training. ABC has no monetary incentive to perform high quality work since property owners are no fiscally involved. This is pure shame on ABC for being a race to the bottom in quality to secure contracts. To get ahead of ABC’s response. I would rather prefer power issues than your work quality. Thanks for leaving all the property owners a mess to clean up after you.

Per the utility company specifications we trimmed the bamboo to their specs and or less. The bamboo was burning in the primary wire prior to trimming and are located directly under the wire, and some to the right of the facility. Each side of the power line is spec as 10’ on each side of the wire, the crews trimmed approximately to only 4 to 5 feet of clearance on the right side of wire only. The specifications for under the wire are to clear to under the communication cable. We trimmed less due to the customer heavily complaining. We currently have trimmed to approx. 6’ under the neutral wire, which is approximately 3 to 4’ less than we should have. We called the utility ROW manager, Steve Rounds when this complaint originally came in. It is my understanding from talking to the GF, Alberto Herrera that Mr. Rounds has an on site meeting today with the customer. Additionally, bamboo is a very fast and aggressive growing vegetation species. Trimming bamboo to these specifications is a must to retain reliability for the customer. My assumption is, that additional trimming will be required in order for Lee County to obtain reliability. I will await the utilities confirmation after the onsite meeting. Every cycle of trimming for this property and this bamboo will need to take place. The majority of this bamboo is growing directly under LCEC’s facility, and with it’s very fast growing nature will demand additional trimming on every cycle due to a wrong placement of this vegetation in the customer’s yard in relation to the wire. Also, there is only 2 places on bamboo to trim or cut them to. 1) is at the distance to obtain clearance and the 2nd) is at the ground level. Bamboo does not have “lateral” limbs to cut to and are not considered a “tree”, but yet a grass with no proper pruning cuts to make, for outdoor varieties, from arboriculture standards. Thank you
