Review: Guajira Family Clinic & Diabetes Care located at 1900 S. Jackson Rd. Suite 9 & 10, McAllen, TX 78503 I had initially been a patient of Dr. Griego at the Weslaco's clinic and then I started going to the clinic located S. Jackson Rd. because the Weslaco clinic got closed. My experiences have been horrible. The office staff lacks customer service skills. Your just a number. Your appointment time doesn't count. You waiting time can from 2-4 hours after your appointment time. They have a laboratory but to get your results you have to either go again in person to consult again with the doctor. No one told me of there being another charge to get the lab results and there is no sign posted to inform you of this double charge. I was told today during my consultation by one of the doctors (Dr. *********) that if I called today I would not get charged, but Olga who is the office manager that I got transferred to said I would be charged today again because it's considered a Telemedicine service and it justified since the pandemic. So, I honestly believe there needs to be transparency of the charges for the services provided. It is sad that their office lacks professionalism in communication and you have to go in person to their office because they don't answer calls. They have you on hold every time directly with no one even saying a word and they hang up the calls after being on hold. I've never have had such a poor quality experience of care. I would like for Dr Enrique J. G***** to personally fix this major problem because it does impact all his patients who go there to be treated for an illness and then come out feeling worse than better. The 2 to 3 hours that I am there in the waiting room I hear the patients being frustrated for the long waiting time. I had chosen to be one of his patients after listening to him on ***** ********* and it's hurts me that it turned out to be a very negative experience. I absolutely don't recommend their medical clinic.
