I used Kelly Wooldridge, to do my taxes, a service she offers. I emailed my taxes to her to be filed the first time on 3/16/23. After waiting a couple weeks for response, I emailed her to see if she got them. She said she did not, so I sent them again on 3/27/23. .. again, a couple weeks go by, same thing. I emailed, she said she did not receive, so I sent them again on 4/3/23. She finally received them. She decided on her own accord to file for an extension, without asking me and chose to file them late. On 5/15/23 she finally does my taxes. I wait a few weeks, thinking I would get my tax refund, and when I did not I emailed her back. She said I had to sign it. However, I did not realize that she or someone changed the banking information for where the tax return was supposed to go to. On 6/6/23 I signed a fraudulent tax form, not realizing as the one I originally saw was correct. However on 6/7/23 the *** deposited me refund to this other account. So it was submitted to the wrong account before I ever even signed the paper. Today 7/3/23 I go up to her office to see what is going on, and she is not there, someone else is and they tell me they have been hacked. So instead of them contacting both the *** and their clients, I am told I have to call *** to see what form I need to fill out. Why had they not already done this? Furthermore, I have been emailing her and calling at all different times to try and get a response from her and not only does she not respond to emails, she she doesnt call back. I have just lost almost $8,000. .. the return that went trough wasnt even correct, but the *** paid them in the amount of $7,672, whereas my return was $7,767. .. either way the *** sent my refund to this fraudulent account and other than filling out an identity theft form the chances of me getting my money are slim to none. Either her or a hacker has stolen from me and she has done nothing to make this right or help in this regard.

I am rejecting this response because:

I dont currently have a way to print, so cant print off what you sent to send back.
Wooldridge CPA company did not contact me. I learned about the fraud on my own. I went up to Wooldridge to try and figure things out. Was given information and told to come back. When I went back on the day they said i was given different information. .. From Kelly Wooldridge herself, her or the software she uses was hacked. She did not let her customers know, when I asked why she gave excuses like they were short staffed and had strep. .. was very unprofessional and rude. .. she didnt even know how or what paperwork to file to assist properly, she should since CPA is her job, and wanted me to sign something. I did not. And have done what Im supposed to on my end with IRS. I have called them multiple times, filled out the correct paperwork, mailed it in, but have heard nothing from them. So I have no idea what is going on.

    Sincerely,

Her taxes were completed in the order that they were received. All clients that drop off close to the deadline is automatically extended.  We received her information on April 3, 2023.  A hacker did hack her account and did reroute the banking information.  We did not change her banking information.  On June 6th we had you sign the **** not knowing a hacker had changed your banking information. The hacker had already filed your tax return before we even had a chance to file it.  As soon as we found out this information my computer was turned over to our IT department on June 9th and wiped clean.  IRS was notified and reports were filed.  **************** was also notified and involved in this as well as the FBI.  We didn't know the exact nature or extent of the hacking and IT kept my computer for 3 weeks so we didn't have information to give her or to notify her before she came in July 3rd which was a holiday but we were here doing payroll for a short period of time. However all this takes time and she was dishearten as she had borrowed money from her grandmother and was going to pay her back with the refund after vacationing in ************.
