We constantly receive 8-10 calls/day advising us about Medicare and Medicaid benefits. I purposely gave a made up name and information to se where this went. This Indian based call center then on the 3rd transfer sent me to an agent with ClearLink. I am sick and tired of the call centers call our office. They need to be stopped.

Thank you for your message and we are sorry to hear about your experience. We have reviewed our call records and confirmed that we did not make any calls to your number. We have, however, added your number to our Do Not Call list. Please note that this will prevent calls from our company, but it wont stop other companies from reaching out.

If you have any additional details about the calls you received that could be helpful, please let us know.

I work as the head of lead generation for Callflex.net. This is my attempt to resolve the issue before I have to start reaching out to CMS and the insurance commissioners. Clearlink is in business we some lead generation companies who provide ******** leads to their agents. We in turn, were contracted under this company to generate leads, so all of the leads that came through this company were generated by my company. When it came time to pay for the invoice we were ghosted. I am trying to get in touch with someone for your lead recruitment team in order to remedy this. If I can't get someone to reach back out I will be forced to go through CMS and the insurance commissioners. This falls under poor character and poor business practice because these particular people have done this to several companies at this point that I know of and there is no way someone does not know this is happening. Please reach out to me at your earliest convenience.

Clear Link Insurance Agency, LLC does not have an agreement with CallFlex and is unaware of which of our partners might work directly with them. Thus, Clearlink is neither involved with nor responsible for any work that CallFlex has done or is doing for any third party and does not owe any money to CallFlex. CallFlex can reach out to Clearlink through our website Contact Us page if there is anything we can help with.

I get calls from Indian call centers asking if I want supplemental Medicare insurance about 10 times a day even though I'm not even a senior. They use a different, spoofed phone number every time, they don't care that I'm on the do not call list, they won't take me off their list and they are often rude and vulgar. I have followed through with their spiel several times and they always end up transferring me to Clearlink so clearly they are hiring these call centers to try to drum up business. I've made Clearlink is a aware of the harassment but they don't care. They say they can get me off of their call list but the calls continue. They are lying. When confronted about the constant harassment they are creating, they just give some nonsense runaround about how they aren't responsible but they are clearly willing use whatever shady practice they need to prey on seniors.

We have received the customers complaint.  Clearlink only contacts customers when it has proper consent to do so.  In order to resolve this matter and ensure that Clearlink does not call this person in the future, we have added their number to our Do-Not-Call list.  We apologize for any inconvenience and hope this resolves the matter for all parties involved.

I am rejecting this response because:

This nonsense answer is skirting the issue. As my complaint stated, Clearlink is not the company calling me. It is ****** call centers hired by Clearlink who do not know or care who is on the do not call list. Clearlink knows this. They know that these call centers make mass, indiscriminate calls and torment people. But as long as it brings them business, they DO NOT CARE how much it negatively affects the lives of others. Its a shameful, predatory business practice.

    Sincerely,

    *******************

My elderly mother, age 71 is retired and disabled. I have the ***** of ******** over my mother's affairs because she was diagnosed with Dementia a few years ago. A request to change health insurance coverage was submitted without my mother's knowledge or concent on July 1, 2023 by a broker named Mac S******* ID#******** at Clear Link Insurance Agency. My mother could not have authorized this because, she did not have a phone from May until the end of July, nor did I. Nor are we familiar with Clear Link Insurance Agency. This is the 3rd time since 2017 or 19 Clear Link Insurance Agency has changed my mothers insurance plan. This act by Clear Link Insurance Agency and ******************* was UNAUTHORIZED, malicious, direuptive to her getting her medication and a form of theft n falsifying documents....... I would like Clear Link Insurance Agency and ******************* to be held accountable for their actions against the elderly, and for my Mother's information to NEVER to be used again. My mother's name is ****** ******. I would like to sue the company.....

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We believe we have identified the call in question but the date of the call was July 31, not July 1. Our compliance and leadership team reviewed the July 31 call, and nothing led our agent or compliance team to believe that she wasn't the decision maker. During the call, she confirmed that she was the decision maker and there were not any indications during the call that led us to feel differently.

Received another call today (get several a day) trying to tell me I qualify for extra Medicare benefits. I was transferred several times until I spoke with a man last name M******. I told him I had told the group I am on a DO NOT CALL list. I also advised him the previous operators were misquoting Medicare's policies by promising me to receive money back on my premium. This company does call and continually calls even when you advise them not to. They were told months ago I didn't want them to call again. They were advised I am on a DO NOT CALL list. I am contacting Medicare's hot line to file a complaint also.

This company uses promoters who calls my number ***** times a day to push their insurance policy. My number is no the DO NOT CALL registry, but I continue to get these calls.Clearlink claim these are 3rd party companies that just act on their own, which is complete BS. If you continue to work with these companies to call people who asked not to be contacted, you are responsible for the actions of these 3rd party companies as well.

We have received the customers complaint. It is Clearlink policy to not call customers unless we have consent. We also require any company that transfers calls to our agents to ensure that they have obtained consent from every customer. Our investigation into this matter does show that a call to this number was transferred to our agent from one of our third-party providers. The agent has been counseled and we have added this number to our internal Do-Not-Call lists,as well as our third-party providers Do-Not-Call list. This should prevent our agents from contacting this number and stop any third party from being able to transfer this number to us.

Please be advised that this may take a few days.We apologize for this frustration and are doing everything we can to prevent this type of thing from happening.

This company calls me ***** times per day trying to sell me some form of ******** Insurance. I am 46 and have tried numerous times to get them to stop. The calls start out with someeone speaking with an Asian accent. After gathering more information, I am transferred to this company about 50% of the time. Once they realize I am simply trying to get off their calling list, I am immediately hung up on. Today, the agent gave me **** ******************************************************************************************************************************, before she realized I was trying to end the harassment. Once, I stated I was simply trying to get information, she hung up on me. They harass me daily. Like I said, sometimes as many as 20 calls per day, referencing my ******** Healthcare that does not even exist. The return numbers are not real. I don't even know how they do this. I am not the only one. There are 1000's of victims, the same as me. I read about it all the time. They are rude. They hang up on me without the opportunity to stop my number on their calling list. After this BBB report, I am reporting this to my congressman in hopes action can be taken against this insurance company and other companies such as this that do not abide by the "Do not call list."

As soon as I started to report to her the the problem, only got a few words out and she promptly hung up on me. Appears they are well aware they are flouting the law to generate leads.
