Poor service, slow response, always an excuse. Did not really have my best interest in mind only their personal interest. Yeah they tried to sell it as fiduciary duties but in the long run I suppose it would qualify as such but they really benefit much more than the client. Just find someone else that doesn't want to sell you an annuity or life insurance. These types of financial advisors do not really have your best interest in mind. **** is BIG on annuities and only work with a certain group of life insurance companies. No one to back up your advisor if unavailable. I waited 4months for them to transfer my annuities-all the while the SP500 soared into high territory. Excuses, excuses. Very frustrating.

Your feedback is important, and we strive to address concerns with care and diligence. We're sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations, and we want to provide some clarity on the points you've raised.

First and foremost, as a fiduciary firm, we are deeply committed to acting in our clients best interests. Every recommendation we make, including the use of annuities or insurance products, comes only after a thorough review of our clients financial circumstances, long-term goals, and retirement objectives. We focus on comprehensive planning, integrating both securities and insurance products when they best serve our clients unique needs.

When funding or transferring of annuities, its important to note that this process is primarily handled by the carriers themselves, not directly by our firm. While we work diligently to facilitate these transfers as quickly as possible, delays can sometimes occur on the carrier's end, especially when dealing with replacements or more complex cases. We understand that these delays can be frustrating, and we share in that frustration when external factors extend the process longer than anticipated.

With respect to the broader market, while we understand your concerns about the performance of the S&P 500 during this period, our investment philosophy focuses on long-term goals rather than short-term market movements. Timing the market rarely leads to sustainable results, and we prioritize "time in the market" as a key strategy for achieving long-term success. This approach is aimed at ensuring our clients' plans are well-diversified and in line with their personal goals and risk tolerance.

We sincerely apologize if there were any missteps during the process. While we have a team-based approach to client serviceensuring multiple advisors and staff are involved to provide supportthere can be occasional overlaps or gaps. We are always looking to improve this aspect of our service and will take your feedback as an opportunity to review our internal processes to ensure better communication.

We appreciate the opportunity to have worked with you and would welcome the chance to further discuss your experience and any unresolved concerns. Please feel free to reach out to us directly at *************************************, and we would be happy to arrange a call to address any lingering issues.

Just met with my advisor at BOSS for my annual review. He provided detailed information for the performance of all my accounts. I asked if I needed to make any changes--which would have provided them with additional commissions--but he said no need to make any changes. I feel they have my best interests in mind. Highly recommend.

My experience with BOSS has been very positive. The advisor I met with was very patient, seemed to be knowledgable, and we had several conversations about different aspects of retirement and our personal situation. I felt they were very candid with me and there was never any pressure to do anything, and I ultimately have hired them to help me.

I am new to BOSS. I allocated over $250k from two separate accounts. The websites they provided at ******* ****** and at BOSSRETIREMENTS does not show most of it. I asked multiple times where my money is located. Keep getting the run-around.I wish I had never heard of BOSS.

My husband and I went to a presentation last night. ***************************** was the presenter. He was not professional. He discussed politics within the presentation and the facts he shared in relation to certain politicians were incorrect. He also slandered Fidelity and discussed how they timed his bathroom breaks when he apparently worked for them. If you are confident in being a financial advisor theres no need for this kind of speech. Basically, theres not a lot of substance to what they share. Theres a lot of shiny brochures with limited information. They basically want to **** people in with manipulation, information that is not factual and scaremongering. Do your homework and stay away from this company. We did our research after the presentation and glad we decided not to have a consultation with them.

I saw BOSSs infomercial and decided to check it out. At my second meeting with BOSS, I was told that their services cost about the same as Im paying at Fidelity. So I agreed to transfer my accounts. The next morning I checked with Fidelity and found that this is not correct. I asked BOSS to hold the transfer so that I could learn more. I needed to know if they were worth the extra cost. After four meetings with BOSS and a couple of calls with Fidelity, I wasnt convinced that they could do much more than I could do with Fidelity. They both talked about using a charitable fund for my RMD distributions, to mitigate taxes. Also both companies utilize **** conversions. But beyond that, BOSS wouldnt tell me anything more. Their argument is: just trust us, we dont want to tell you our secrets that you can ask Fidelity to provide.Bottom line: I couldnt get enough information to make an informed decision to go with BOSS. Im okay with that. But thats when things got ugly. My BOSS agent got very angry and verbally abusive. I dont know if its just this guy, or their policy to go with intimidation if they cant win with logic. This agent has been with BOSS for quite awhile so I suspect the latter. This was very upsetting, but I have dealt with bullies before. This kind of tactic reminded me of a couple of time share presentations that I attended in the 90s, where there is a lot of pressure, and anger to buy now. I was definitely not prepared for that from a financial advisor. My concern is for others who might not be able to easily defend themselves, then end up buying something they dont want or need. If you are planning to check out BOSS and end up buying and appreciating their services, that would be great! But Id recommend pushing for Zoom meetings where you can easily hang up if things go south.
