You can't cancel "anytime" like they say you can and if you try they charge you $2000. I'm locked in they say and all because I believed the salesman And his pitch about getting advertising out. He lied 100% and even paid the activation fee himself to get the service started after saying "you can cancel anytime at no charge just send the equipment back." Now I'm stuck and my system is not even working and I'm being charged monthly for something that just chimes when doors open and getting behind. I'm so sad and so angry and so dissatisfied. I am mad that safe streets lies so blatantly to get you into a signature that basically costs $2000 after you sign.

I was a technician for Safestreets *** hadnt been there long and have been in the industry 12 years. Do not do business with this company, I quit recently because they prey on the elderly and less fortunate. We are told in the field that if we do not push sales we are fired, they dont just push a few hundred dollars either. We are threatened with unemployment if we do not run their play which is adding a bunch of equipment to a list that totals $10,000 or more then go down from there until the customer agrees to add the equipment. The management wants to push oh we are saving lives they arent saving anything but themselves from being poor. They dont care about the customers they claim they do, I bet anyone in here has the same experience, first 3 days of you having the system every question or concern is addressed without issue then after that you get no help, its how they do business. They hide behind the podium and trust pilot ratings but dont tell customers that we as techs are required to force the customer to do those ratings before we leave and you guessed it we are fired if we dont. The company is a scam and honestly dont see how they are still allowed to conduct business. Just sad this is a company that claims they want techs with integrity and morals but have none themselves. Do yourselves a favor and go with a self monitoring system. Traditional companies will rob you blind because traditional companies are a thing of the past, its not hard to install a cameras the way they do. Dont let them get you with the professional install line. Anyone with a brain can run 3-4 wires and hit a add button.

I'm a customer of **********************. And i recently had a technical issue with one of my 3 camaras, i call it in and report it, we did a trouble shooter over the phone and the operator decided to send a technically over, a week later the technician came and fixed my issue, he left and came back 15 min later and saying the i need it pay $63.13 for the service, wich the operator didn't mention anything about it, after a few minutes i decided to pay it but not happy about it. I call in and complain about it and they said there's nothing they can do, so I'm here telling who read this post to stay away from this company or always ask for hidden changes and record the conversation if possible. They are crooks and when my contract finish, i will cancel my services ??

The business says they will give a 200$ for any referral. Good luck on getting it, after multiple attempts on talking to customer service, still havent received after referring almost a year ago. ****! Stay away!

I called ADT to get a security system which was set up by Safe Streets. Safe Streets offer 90 day warranty and my alarm system malfunctioned one month after. When I call to cancel, Safe Streets referred to ADT, then ADT referred to Safe Streets. I am concerned about an alarm system that malfunctions within 4 months. I expressed myself over many calls. IT support had me replacing batteries that are to last 3-4 years! Then I waited for a virtual call that never happened. I was able to cancel with ADT after many calls of them promising to fix and repeated apologies. I dont feel comfortable with the back up going out. I called Safe Streets to make appointment to pick up equipment per ADT and was given a figure of $1700 and no pick up, told the equipment is mine. I am sorely disappointed in the service received. It felt like they were crooks. I thought I made a good decision but when I started seeing the faults and wanted to cancel the customer service turned into a weird mind game. The customer service is horrendous and feels like a scam. Please take your time and do not feel pressured to buy more than you need. Most importantly beware that once you sign on you will not receive good customer service.

Same thing as everyone else. A disgusting legal scam to empty the pockets of veterans buying a home with a VA loan. Beware of ANYONE who mutters the word "concierge".So they tell me it is a $600 install @ $60 monthly. But oh, you have holes in your security. Long story short, it was $2000 install (I supposedly got $1900 in free equipment, laughable), and $70 monthly. Oh yeah, and the early termination fee is...THE REMAINDER OF THE CONTRACT!!! If tell them to stick it, they cutoff service, and I STILL HAVE TO PAY for 3 years of monitoring. I guess us veterans really are suckers. Gross.Safestreets is basically a shield for ADT to scam their customers. After the 3 years is up, I will never ever be a customer of ADT again.
