My daughter in law asked me to maybe cosign for her. I called and spoke with a young man, asked him questions. Told him my credit was good. I did give him my ss number, but assumed it would be a soft not a hard inquiry, as I told him we were looking else where, ad I expressed dissatisfaction with a 45 day warranty. I did not tell him we were buying. Less than a week later I got a rejection from MACU stating they could not loan me 58k. No where was my daughter in laws name, she got no rejection letter . They ran that hard inquiry as if I was buying not co signing. Her income wasn't considered. I just received another rejection from AMERICA FIRST CU , again under my name alone. I am going to call them Monday and complain, but right now they are hitting my credit in a shady way I spoke with this man on 9/11/23 and in now way told him we were buying. I told him I would looking at other places. And would get back with him if interested. He ran my credit, hard inquiry that very day . Did not use her income or name, just mine. And now I have 2 rejections on.my very good credit because my income is not enough to qualify, it is only my credit rating that was to guarantee her loan. This place overcharges, uses shady underhanded practices. Saw my credit was great and tried to get it approved without my consent. Thank *** it wasn't approved, or I'd probably have a loan against my name and reading tge other complaints, they would then charge me for declining Respectfully Wanda broadhead

Besides poor treatment the real issue and most egregious is they pulled credit without authorization. I was with my daughter helping her find her 2nd car. She had been pre-approved before looking for cars. She decided she wanted to try and purchase a vehicle she looked at from this dealership. It was 6:45PM & not too long before they closed at 7:00pm on a Saturday. They made sure to point out they were doing a favor by staying late (any other dealership goes out of their way to accommodate when they have a serious buyer). We made it clear that she already had her financing lined up but when asked we said we were okay to go through their financing if we could first come to terms and then if it was equal or better then what she was offered from her bank. Rather then giving us the things we asked for upfront (total sales price, out the door costs) they took over an hour of trying to play their sales games. While going through this process we found out they pulled my daughters credit without her authorization. After more then an hour they finally gave us the numbers we were asking for which we agreed to (could of been done in less than 10 mins). At this point they asked for a $500 deposit. We asked why? They said it was their process and to hold the vehicle. We said there was no point since we were going to be signing documents and making a $5K down payment. They kept insisting on the deposit. At this point we found out they wanted a non-refundable deposit because they weren't staying any later to sign docs and wanted to lock her in. We explained my daughter was home from Logan for the weekend and couldn't wait until the following Monday. The sales manager arrogantly said "too bad, we won't sell you the car then and we'll sell it to someone else." My daughter in an angry tone asked why they played all the stupid games. The sales manager snapped backed and told her to talk to him like an adult. She was being the adult. From there they got my explicative adult version.

We drove by and was intrigued by the advertising Low Book auto sales was advertising. Financing for everyone! I was baited into going inside by this advertisement. I let them pull my credit with full intentions on “everyone getting financing” they then pulled my credit and the employee laughed and cussed in front of my children. And said we were not approved. They are false advertising to get customer baited into allowing them to pull our credit and not only not getting approved but now I have a hard inquiry on my credit because I was baited with their false advertising. This is wrong to allow a company to false advertise to get someone inside to pull their credit and then deny them when they are suppose to “finance everyone!” Very very wrong! Date of incident: November 26, 2022
