When you go in for your annual womens exam or check up and they ask you, do you have any health concerns? Make sure you say no. If you bring anything up they will charge you for an additional appointment. When I called and asked the billing department about it they said, we have a sign in the office that states this policy. When I told them that I felt like it was dishonest and that I was going to take my business elsewhere they said, thats your prerogative. Basically they dont care about actually helping people, just making money.Review from Shana E

Very dishonest in their billing! This company continuously billed us wrong even after I did a conference call with my insurance company. The lady from my insurance told them they were illegally charging us for items and told them what they were doing wrong and the lady from Revere Health argued back telling her SHE was wrong! The lady from Revere Health eventually hung up on her and wouldnt listen to anything my insurance was telling her. They then continued to send bills through text and mail and wouldnt fix the issue at all. How many others are they illegally charging??Review from Trent W

This company continues to make billing errors on every bill. Billing insurance I haven't have for over 2 years. In addition also will charge you for 2 seperate visits if you are being seen for a chronic condition. They charge you for a regular office visit and what they call a complex e/m visit for an ongoing condition. Even if the visit is just to get refills for your medicine. I will not returning to revere health for condition. It sad to see healthcare companies think it's OK to charge people more because they are coming to the doctor more often. Which already gives the company a higher revenue! Shame on revere for treating patients that need the most help like walking pigging banks they can take more money from!Review from Maurice R.

My wife & I were involved in a hit-and-run accident that affected our health. The other driver was high on meth & ran us off the road, totaling our 4-year-old truck. My wife sought treatment from a physical therapist in Salem, & I went to PT Averett at Revere Health Sports Fitness & Physical Therapy. I quickly realized that I was "a number" rather than an individual. During each visit, I spent most of the time doing basic exercises I had already done at home. Averett would come in at the end, briefly massage my neck for a few minutes, and then send me on my way. I felt that he was disengaged and did not care about me personally. Care was mainly provided by assistants who had a checklist of tasks to go through. My physical pain increased under Averett. Not long after I saw him & asked if he remembered me as a patient, he did not. My time with Averett was a waste as I saw no progress in my healing. My wife had a positive experience with her physical therapist after the first wreck, so I decided to try PT Horrocks. The difference was night and day! Horrocks gave me his full attention during every visit, spending a minimum of 30 minutes working on my back, neck, and soft tissue injuries. After a second wreck while in his care I suffered a setback. Horrocks demonstrated genuine care and became a dear friend and trusted provider. He was interested in me as a person and used laughter as a healing tool. His exceptional knowledge was matched by his compassionate approach. Horrocks spoke to me with kindness and truly wanted to see me recover, which I did. After two years, I felt whole again and will forever be grateful for his care. He knew exactly what I needed, both physically and emotionally, and provided the human touch essential for my overall healing. He knows my name to this day and I would never hesitate going back to him. He is a true healer. My strong recommendation is to avoid Averett and his methods. Find someone that truly cares about you as a person.Review from Dale P

Before Revere Health, I have never failed to pay a single medical bill in my life. Revere Health almost never sends medical bills. They constantly have issues with giving the correct information to insurance to get claims accepted. Then they send bills to Mountain Land Collections often without you seeing a bill or a having single conversation. After that Mountain Land Collections won't fix any of the mistakes when it wasn't run through insurance. Mountain Land Collections sued me for a petty $360 that I didn't owe and sneakily got a judgment on default against me for $1,100. Their entire billing process is disorganized and criminal. They cheat honest and responsible people. They may have stolen my money this time, but I am not going to give them my business. I will do all I can to avoid visiting Revere Health in the future.Review from Samuel B

They keep harassing me about a $30 dollar bill that "is due" that I already paid weeks ago! This company cannot keep track of their own billing.Review from Chelsa B

Was served notice to appear in court 2/2024. For a bill that was paid in full in October of 2023. When I called to talk to someone about it they were very rude and said I should have paid the collections company. How was I to know that the 338 dollar payment was sitting as a credit on my account and not actually applied to a bill.Review from Amber A

If I could give their billing zero stars I would. We moved from our previous home 11 years ago. That is not a typo- seriously 11 years ago. I have updated my address every time I have gone into the doctor and double checked it at the office that it is the new address. For some reason they still send bills to our old address. I have called billing and updated my address multiple times over the years, but for some reason bills are still sent to my old address. Because of this we never get the bill. Than my bills are passed onto collections and we never get those notices because it is the wrong address!! Over the years I have learned to be extra careful to watch for their bills. When I don't see them come in I go back into the office and get a number to talk to billing. Even thou the office says if you don't get a bill it means you don't owe anything I know from my EOB that is false and I know to call. This is a repeated cycle with them on multiple bills. it is infuriating. They refuse to accept that they are using the wrong address and that there is at the very least a glitch in their system they need to resolve it. I have kept detailed notes so thankfully we have them to back up our claims and will take legal action if this ever shows up on our credit. Thankfully one day the new owners of our old home brought over some of the bills so we can actually prove it was not going to the correct address. So many of the stories on here I can relate to we have had very similar problems. Feel bad for the people who have had their credit damaged by this company. It's wrong. If this would allow me to leave a more detailed experience I would. All I can say to others is always follow-up, document document document and know that you can request your recorded phone calls with them and collection agencies. Your credit score is so important and it is so frustrating to have it damaged wrongfully. It's hard to get credit dings reversed so have documentation ready.Review from Abigail S

I have always loved the staff and doctors at Revere Health clinic in ***. But their billing department commits absolute FRAUD. I went for my yearly visit in early May. I asked numerous times if there was a balance due, was told no. I was told any other charges I receive would be through my insurance and they would **** me for any amount owed. I received that **** through my insurance, in early June, I paid that ****. I went for a COVID PCR test in late July, asked again if there was anything owed on my account, was told no, the cost of the test was covered by my insurance. Now all the way in the middle of AUGUST they sent me a ****, for the visit all the way back in May, claiming I owe nearly $100 for the visit. The same visit I asked about and was told I didnt have a balance on numerous times by numerous employees. I told them I have already paid for that visit through my insurance, and have an itemized **** from my insurance listing the exact same charges on the **** they just sent me. So they are purposefully double charging me for visits. This is not the first time, I always pay in office, out of pocket. Then they send a **** saying I owe hundreds of dollars more and also don't get the in office discount for any of that. And even when you show them the proof that you have paid it, they send it to collections to ruin your credit. They rely on people just paying for it without realizing they are double and triple charging you for the same visit. FRAUD.
