My intention is not to drag the company through the mud, but only to receive my slide. I understand small businesses can get chaotic. Hopefully, communication will be improved. The slide was shipped to them on November 9th, 2023. The company website states: Current Lead Times; Lead times are ESTIMATES and begin from parts arrival at our location. Unless you have purchased a guaranteed lead time service, lead times can be subject to change without notice. Optic Cut AND Cerakote for all slides 4-8 weeks INCLUDING COATING This was perfectly acceptable. I understand the holidays may have slowed things down. I sent an email on February 1st requesting an update. Culper Precision responded with the following: Culper Precision Thu, Feb 1, 10:15 PM to me *******, your slide came out of Final Assembly tonight. We should be able to get it shipped out tomorrow or Monday. It is 20 days after that response email, and I still have not received my property, or an update explaining the delay. I am trying to be very patient, but have reached out to them multiple times through emails, calls, and even texts simply looking for an update on the progress throughout the process. I sent this email reaching out to them: ******* ****** Fri, Feb 16, 12:08 PM (5 days ago) to Culper Good morning, I received this message "*******, your slide came out of Final Assembly tonight. We should be able to get it shipped out tomorrow or Monday" This message was sent to me on February 1st. I have not received any shipping notifications or updates since then. I will await a reply from you within the next 24hrs before I pursue this further thank you. *. ****** I understand it would have reached them while they were closed, so I waited a couple of additional days before reaching out to the BBB.

I was told that my romeo zero pro sight would fit. When I received the slide back in the mail it would not fit. I was informed that i would have to purchase a different sight despite being told via e-mail it would fit. I had to sell the sight at a $50 loss and time. When I got the sight that fit, the screws they sent me were too long. A month ago i requested shorter screws via phone and did not receive them. They cannot even provide me with the correct screws for the service after making me lose $50 and I still have a slide that I cannot use. This has dragged on for months

Order #***** was placed 3 Nov 2022 for machining services on customer provided item. Order was for machining of a slide to accept a Trijicon brand RMRcc optic as well as the 2 screw holes for mounting of the optic. I provided my own slide to be machined. When I personally dropped off the slide to be machined I asked if they needed the new Trijicon RMRcc optic for any measurements. They said they did not. I also verified that the machining would accommodate the unique screw hole size of RMRcc optic which differs from the standard Trijcon RMR optic size of 6-32 x 3/8”. Not only have I incurred the cost of the machining, I supplied my slide. I would like the work to be completed or all monies refunded including the value of my slide.

Around the 1st of December 2021, I reached out to Culper Precision to have custom slide work done. Emails were written back and forth and the company received my slide on January 5th 2022. Communication was consistent at the start of the project and I was projected a lead time of around 12-15 weeks at a quoted price of $450. For the first couple weeks email was written back and forth discussing the planning and mock up for the slide design and cut. Once the planning stages were set, I left this company to work on my request. Around the estimated lead time, I emailed them to get an update and a possibility of a delay and got an email stating that their engineering team was backed up. Roughly 8 months has passed since my slide got sent and notified them that I was leaving for the Army and would not be available to discuss any progress on my project. After leaving comments on their social media and Google review in order to get their attention, they finally responded with an email acknowledging my frustration and offered a solution to do another precut or send my slide back. I responded that I would like to get this done and that I would leave my slide with them while I am away. Around the same time, I had modified the mock up of the slide design in order to achieve what I desired and they have assured me the engineer will get working on it. Roughly a year past, and I am finally back home trying to get ahold of them but I couldn't. I was patient and gave the company ample time to deliver what they stated. I got no response from the company nor do I know where the progress of my project was going. My frustration is that I gave them more than enough time to perform what was agreed but it was evident on their social media that they prioritized other work that came in after mine. Since then, their "Lead Time Policies" on their website changed to a first come first serve basis (my pistol slide was held for more than a year) and if the customer was active duty military.
