I was hit by a commercial truck as I was driving on the highway, 90 days (to the day)after purchasing my vehicle. My car was deemed a total loss.From the moment I filed a claim ~ dealing with this company was a nightmare! They never return a phone call or email UNLESS you reach out to senior management and threaten to escalate the situation.They blatantly lie to avoid paying out on the claim, using any means possible. 5 months after my accident the claim is STILL not resolved.I reached out to the insurance company of the person responsible for the accident. They were responsive and professional. My claim involved many layers/companies. Every other company was above board and payed within 2-5 days.Every step of the way Farmers Insurance DID NOT PAY - even though they were paid by the other companies. The last straw was Farmers Insurance - flat out LYING in a FRAUDULENT attempt to keep all monies they collected on my behalf. After months of waiting, my claims adjuster and her supervisor told me the reason they had not paid out ~ reimbursing my deductible ~ was because they had not been able to collect the money from the other party's insurance. I called the other insurance company - because I don't believe a word Farmers has to say. I found out that my insurance company had been paid out - 6 weeks prior! I sent an email repeating the information ~ miraculously an hour later I received an email notifying me that I had a payment waiting to be transferred to my bank. Farmers Insurance company does not ONLY as a baseline of doing business ~ intentionally ignore customers in order to frustrate and wear them down, so they give up pursuing the claim. THEY ARE THIEVES. They actually STEAL from their customers and LIE to cover it up. This is not simply a business with poor customer service ~ this is a company INTENTIONALLY BREAKING THE LAW.I am pursuing this with the Attorney General.
