This service consistently has provided sub-par lawn care services, using local providers. They give you 24 hours to contact them if the service is not 'complete' using pictures, however they do not provide a phone number only contact sheets. They use pictures that only cover part of the lawn or home, and from these you must determine if you are going to accept the service. Additionally, they set the times, whether convenient or not to the home owner. The only time a phone number is provided is when they try to sell new services. The most recent issue, one of many, they left my yard partially incomplete and I was unaware of it until I returned home a week later, this led to a HOA warning. As of 4:15pm on the day they were supposed to arrive they had not, and when I finally reached them after 4 unanswered CS requests they told me the servicer had until sundown to arrive (that would be 8pm). They threatened to hang up if I did not change my tone (yes I was angry).Initial Complaint

I ordered a service through Sunday lawn care who is in partnership with task easy. Task easy was supposed to call within 24 hours of the order but they did not. I called and left several messages and emails for them to respond. They responded today, which is almost a week after they were supposed to call. They said they cannot Put me on a schedule because they have no availability in the near future. I asked them to refund my money so I can go somewhere else to get the services they are supposed to provide but they are refusing to give my refund saying I need to get it from another source . The companies professionalism and customer service is severely lacking as they do not care once you pay a bill whether you get a service or not. Buyer beware as there are many reviews stating how horrible of a company task easy is but I wanted to give them an opportunity, and they have totally failed me.Initial Complaint

TaskEasy came to my house on November 7, 2023, and I had premium service which includes: Premium $91/service - -Mowing, mulching and blowing* *grass longer than 6 inches. -Grass trimming. -Pavement edging. -Bush and shrub trimming. -Weeding of flowerbeds. TaskEasy sent contractors out but they just mowed the grass. The contractors left grass clippings on the sidewalk and on the mulch in the backyard. The contractor seemed to be allergic to weeding the flowerbeds and trimming the bushes in the flowerbeds. Additionally, pavement edging as it looks like my grass is edged in weeds and doesn't look manicured as advertised. The TaskEasy agents I did talk to didn't really listen or read the emails and photos I sent them. As I was told blowing leaves away in the yard, and mulching, is an extra charge even for the Premium package which I have and is supposed to be included (Order *******).Initial Complaint

Task easy does not have a way to cancel their service on the app or website unless it is canceled by email. Task easy had sent out a contractor that did not understand that you should not mow grass two days after it was already mowed by them. I tried to cancel and found how shady they were by trying to force you to pay which I did even with proof and a lot of back and forth over .0010 cm of grass cut and damaged lawn.Initial Complaint

They are contracted through my rental company to acquire a vendor for pool cleaning services. My previous vendor stopped coming for personal reasons and they had assigned a new vendor to come and the vendor hasn’t come in almost 2 months. The vendor keeps lying and saying they can’t access the pool due to my screen door being locked when they have the access code for it. I’ve reported this to Task Easy on multiple occasions yet they keep trying to send the same company. I get emails that the service is scheduled and no one shows up. I call to see what’s going on and don’t get any real answers. I’m always told they will send an email and follow up with me. I even watched them show up once for 2 minutes then drive away. I reported it immediately to then be told they will follow up with me and I still don’t have an answer almost 2 weeks later. My pool looks like a pond already and has a white film on top of it due to the neglect since no one has came out. Even though my rental company is still charging me and paying them for the service. I’m sick of being told they will find out what is going on and still there is not an answer. It is hot and my family can’t even enjoy the pool we have!Initial Complaint

I used Task Easy for several of my company's rental homes and the results are subpar. The vendors Task Easy hires are typically lazy and do a shoddy job at best. When I rejected some jobs, Task Easy asked for photos of the issues. I provided photos twice. I then received a message stating they never received the photos and they approved the work in favor of the vendor. They get away with it, as I am not able to see the yards since they are spread over several states. My local property manager had to tell me the vendor was neglecting an entire side of the property and conveniently leaving out "after" photos of this area. I sent the photos four times. I also paid an additional fee for tree removal for young trees that blew over during a storm and the vendor removed the tree, but left the tree stakes. I argued this should have been part of the job, but they refused to ask the vendor to remove the stakes on his next visit and charged me $150 for removing the stakes. I was left with little choice but to move forward since I am not physically in the area and the HOA was breathing down my neck. My other homes are not much better and the fee for mowing small yards is too high. I am looking at another service for all my lawns. All in all, vendors are lazy and nickel and dime customers. The upcharges are ridiculous and again, the vendors do a crude job of those as well. Task Easy has horrible customer service that resolves nothing.Initial Complaint

I currently reside at *** ***** **. I rent the home from Open House. Task Easy sends various vendors to my home, to provide landscaping service. Task Easy has fraudulently reported, to my landlord, on multiple occasions, I have refused service and they were unable to mow the lawn. This is a lie. On 10/14 Task Easy sent an email to my landlord stating I refused service, the vendor was in the yard applying mulch at the time the email was sent. On 10/31/22 another email was sent to my landlord stating I refused service; however, service was rendered on 10/28/22, and I had video footage, to show I did not approach the vendor, or come outside, when Task Easy stated I refused service. When my landlord contacted Task Easy and informed them I had video footage to support my claims, the emails stopped. Today, I received a phone call stating another email was sent by Task Easy stating I refused service. I am in the house quarantined for COVID. I have not been outside. In fact, I called Task Easy on 3/21/23 to obtain the next service date, as I have received a violation for weed overgrowth, from the HOA on 3/14/23. Task Easy came to my home on 3/13/23. Why am I receiving HOA yard violations? Because the service rendered is terrible. On 3/13 the vendor did not trim the weeds in the mulch bed nor cut the lawn on the side of the home and back yard. But nonetheless, I was going to ask the vendor to remove the weeds with the wacker on the next visit. I was informed, the vendor would come out on 3/23/23. I called the office today to speak with someone regarding the email that was sent to my landlord —stating I refused service. I was not allowed to speak with anyone. I was told I did not have an account listed and service was never rendered to my address. I asked to speak with a supervisor. I was denied. I was told they did not have a supervisor. There must be invoices/billing for service rendered to my home on these dates. So why, are these emails being sent to my landlord?Initial Complaint

I signed up for the premium plan which includes: Mowing, mulching and blowing* Grass trimming Pavement edging Bush and shrub trimming Weeding of flowerbeds I have complained to the company about the person that comes out has never trimmed my bushes. They were scheduled to come out either Mondays or Tuesdays. Last week, they didn't come out on either day. I went out of town and noticed on Sunday I was charged. They came out on Thursday, and they sent me an email that I never saw because I didn't have access to my email. I didn't get to notify them that bushes were not done because I wasn't home. I called the company and asked if they could send someone back out because they didn't do my bushes. (I live in a HOA neighborhood. So, you know how that goes.) I was told they couldn't send someone out because the order was closed. So, I said then you need to give me a refund. I have complained about this issue multiple times, and it still hasn't been corrected. I was told they wouldn't be able to give me a refund. I then asked for a supervisor. Without even checking, the rep stated no supervisor was available. I said, "How do you even know because you didn't even checked?" She attempted to act like she was checking and stated we would have to submit a request for a callback in 24hrs. I waited 24hrs and never received a call. I called back and was told it takes 24-48 hrs for a call back. Now it is 48 hrs, and I still have not received a phone call from a supervisor. I also sent a message over through chat. I called again, and the rep refused to put a supervisor on the phone. I am so disappointed as to how this have been handled. I want a refund for the services I paid for, but have not fully received.
