    Hello, I, ******* *** *******, am acting on behalf of my senior mother, ***** ******, via power of attorney. If required, proof can be provided. Mountain West Medical Center of Tooele Utah has now incorrectly sent her to collections two times, for a medical bill that was paid on time, by both her and her insurance company, in 2020. The first contact from the collection agency Frost-Arnett came in July 2023. We spent over six months dealing with the fraudulent claim in spite of the fact that we had immediate proof of payment. With extreme headache the matter eventually closed, and was thought to have been properly resolved. Apparently not. Now in June 2024 we have received a new collection letter, from Express Recovery, for the same long since paid bill. Contacting Mountain West Medical Directly has resulted in countless dead ends, with no one seeming to be able or willing to correct their mistake. They have also now re-directed us to Quorum Health CRC for further billing inquiries. At this point we view Mountain West Medical's actions, or lack there of, as harassment and potential fraud. We are going down the path we already took back in 2023, and have sent via certified mail proof of the payment to the collection agency. We are also continuing to attempt to get the matter resolved with Mountain West Medical directly. We do not wish to have her credit negatively impacted, nor be forced to waste another six months of hours on the phone, or have to again deal with the distress of a matter that should already have been resolved. We are hoping that by filing a complaint through the BBB it might help matters along more efficiently. Any direction or assistance that can be give will be much appreciated.     I was seen for an emergency on 12/6/22 at Mountain West Medical Center. I have statements from May 2023 to July 2023. I have called their customer service for their billing department repeatedly to give them the information to send the bill to my secondary insurance. One time they even refused to call the number that the insurance gave me to give to them to call and get the local Blue Cross and Blue Shield address to send the claim to. The insurance customer service then had to call and tell them to call. That I couldn't call and get the address as it was only for the Medical Providers. This was on 7/24/23. I had also asked to put the account on hold at that point so that secondary could be billed properly. They said they would. They said they sent it to the secondary on 6/30/23. I just received a phone call from a debt collecter today 9/13/23. I have not had another statement. I called the secondary insurance. They still have not received the claim. This has happened with multiple bills through Mountain West Medical Center R1 billing.
