I was given my boyfriend a ride to tracks I decided to stop at vip car wash and wash my car ,he decided that since tracks was right across the street he would walk . We both got out of my car,he was driving he handed me keys and money to wash my car and walked away....I got my dollars turned into change and then started washing my car .... Just about the time I finished it ..I had a guy come up and boot my car....I asked him what he was doing and he states since the authorized driver left the property They was booting my car ...I stated that I was the owner of the car and the trailer that was hooked up to my car.... The guy told me I better go get the driver and I told him why I am the owner....he told me if I wanted my car unbooted I would get the driver....I took off running for my boyfriend hoping that he had not gotten on tracks and I couldn't find him I went back to the car wash and the tow truck was pulling away ...It cost me 382. To get out and they originally wanted 370 for car and 370 for trailer

On a Sunday afternoon helping my son move out of their townhome. My Jeep Grand Cherokee was parked in front of their driveway to move load items for the move and any moron with common sense could see that. After parking I went inside to get some stuff to load up to go to the storage unit and 5 maybe 10 min come out and it's gone. Called 911 an the dispatch said it was towed. Called the tow company to find out the details as to why it was towed and the manager couldn't really explain why it was towed just that the hazard lights weren't on. and they said to make an appt to come pick it up. Now, with that said I must have not pressed the hazard light button hard enough because the tow truck driver said the lights were not on. Nothing else surrounding the tow just that the hazard lights weren't on, not parked in a fire lane or blocking another driveway, just that the hazard lights weren't on. So that leads me to believe that the tow driver was sitting and waiting for anyone to park and tow their vehicle away. Now we get to the good stuff...... Payment. Getting ready to make the payment I didn't have the full $451 dollars to get my Jeep out so my sone was going to pay for it. Well company policy is the cardholder has to be the same as the vehicle owner. I stopped and thought the only reason for that is to force a cash payment and not to report unemployment taxes. I used to work for the state unemployment office and that's how they get around not paying their unemployment tax. Who cares how you get paid and where the money comes from??? Right?? Unless you're trying to circumvent the system!! Customer service was Grade A Crap!!!! Condescending and rude all around!!

On 11/7/23 my vehicle was towed. It is a full time four wheel drive and it was towed with a two wheel carrier. I was also extremely overcharged. This is a predatory business. I’d like my vehicle to be assessed to ensure there is no damage to the drive train or transmission. If there is a repair that is needed I would ask that the vendor be held liable.

I was told to park in the lot of Ranchero market by a local Police officer for the night, i walked across the street to the local apartment complex to talk with the landlord to get permission to move the vehicles, when I came back out the tow company had already hooked up to both vehicles and was driving away- the vehicles had all of my personal belongings inside it along with my pets, when i called the company they said i was SOL and wouldnt turn around or waive any fees and that for 300$ i could come and pick up the car and for 500 our motor home, we just moved to utah and were obtaining our lodgings. we have no money to pull them out of impound and they said that the vehicles will incur charges for each additional day they are in the lot

My son went to drop off a friend at the Overlook townhomes in Herriman. He had not been there before. He parked in the driveway in front of the garage and was fully in the driveway. He was inside the home for less than 5 minutes while he picked something up and came back to find that the tow company had hooked him up. They demanded a $100 to release the car. This is predatory and approaches extortion. There are no signs indicating that parking in what appears to be a driveway is not allowed. The HOA washed their hands of it, indicating that its the tow company's fault. As usually predatory tow companies and HOA collaborating to give the worst possible experience.

I realize that Towing companies have a purpose, but this one is spiteful and does sneaky things to make money off people. On November 2, 2022 I arrived at a Herriman complex. It was my first time there, and it was late at night so it was dark. I parked on a street in the complex, which had no red curb and no visible signs about not parking. When I came out shortly thereafter my car was gone. I eventually found a sign at the very entrance of the complex, covered in snow, and not lit up. I had to clean off the snow in order to see the phone number to call. This company waited for people to park there at night, when the sign was covered, and hoped to take advantage of that. I picked my car up the next morning when it was available and it was over $300. They did not care about the sign being small, covered, and far away from where I parked. This company does not do things justly or fairly. Horrible company!!! I will seek out small claims court or other terms necessary. You cannot tow someone for information on a sign that is covered, and far from where they park!

On May 6, 2022 I visited a friend at the Boulders apartment complex in Herriman Utah. It was Mother's Day and I stopped by to drop off flowers. Following a short visit I discovered my vehicle was missing. I had parked in the white area adjacent to the driveway, ensuring I was not in the RED area. After searching the area for some kind of notice or anything that might show if my vehicle had been towed or stolen, I contacted the Herriman police department. The dispatcher had no information about my vehicle or of any issues in that area but took my contact information and I proceeded to attempt contacting local towing companies. Shortly afterwards I was contacted by the dispatcher and informed that Swift Towing had taken my vehicle. I was able to have someone meet me at the impound area in West Jordan, Utah and had another friend drive me to the facility. When I arrived I met with the tow truck driver and asked why my vehicle was towed. He stated that "Anyone on the street will be towed". I explained that I had parked in a "White area" and he stated that he couldn't help me. I was charged $346.65 for this incident.
