    In June 2022, I took my SHRM-SCP test. Unfortunately, I did not pass this test. I have been ok with that and working towards studying and determining if and when I might test again.In November 2022, I received an email that I was SHRM-SCP certified. I contacted SHRM and the customer service rep stated in an email that I was indeed certified, and I should share my good news. I asked when should I receive the certificate and they stated in 2 weeks. After 2 weeks I had not received my certificate and I contacted SHRM again and they stated they made a mistake, and I was not certified. No one contacted me to tell me this. I asked why this happened as this has now impacted my career as well as my emotions as I thought they had an error in my test and I had passed based on the email received. They offered for me to re-take the test. This is not adequate remediation for the impact to my career and emotions. No one has offered a true apology; it has merely been a show of how SHRM can make me take the test again right now. The final straw was them asking me to take a different test in addition to the test I took as it would be the only way they would honor my request. So first they contact me to let me know I passed a test that I thought I had failed. I verify with customer service and am told I did pass then they take it all back and I am in the wrong? I am simply asking for a justified solution.
