I was shopping for a 2025 Sportage Prestige. I came in twice to test drive the car. ****** was my salesperson-very knowledgeable patient. I wanted a particular exterior/interior, which was not on the lot. I found one online and asked if the dealership could initiate a trade. ****** and the sales manager, *****, said that was not possible but they could secure it for me and drive it over from ************ once I signed the paperwork. I thought that was odd, didn't feel totally comfortable with that way of doing business but decided to take my chances and gave the green light to secure it. When I showed up the next evening, Zeven said so sorry but the other dealership sold the car "out from under us." I asked when that had happened-he said 1 1/2 hours ago. I hadn't left my house yet so this turned out to be a total waste of time (esp fighting rush hour traffic). He claimed that he searched a 300-mile radius for the one I wanted. Zeven asked if I would be interested in another car. I said no. Later, I googled the area inventory and found the exact car within 25 miles of my house. ***** offered to email me a $100 Amazon gift card as a consolation- still waiting for that...Obviously, I should have read the many negative reviews before trying to do business with them.Review from Dalton A

Ive bought multiple cars from different dealerships over the past 6 years and this one BY FAR is the worst dealership when it comes to sales! This dealership tries to win your business by promising things they dont actually hold up to on their end once it comes time to finalize the deal.- Was promised below MSRP as thats what sets them apart from other dealerships (so they claim). And that was even when ordering a new car. Went to order one and they actually charged for the car MSRP above what it says online.- Told me *** does not offer financing at a low rate when in fact on the *** website it states they do offer the rate for the loan term I was asking about.- After telling them I wouldnt put any money down from the beginning they said they could still get me to my payment Id just pay for the dealership fee, taxes, and destination fee. Went to finalize the deal and some how they added that up to $5,500 (when the taxes were only $585 of that) that Id have to pay out of pocket and then proceeded to quote my monthly payment way over what they said they could get me to originally with no money down on the car. They also would never show the true break down of where they got the $5,500 from.Overall they handle their car sales very sketchy and seem to be adding on additional cost to the final sale total. There are plenty of other *** dealerships in this area so Id highly recommend to not go to this one!Review from Brian S

I took my 2021 Sorento here for an oil change and tire rotation. It was a year and a half old had fewer than 15,000 miles on it. They tried to upsell me on a brake fluid flush and AC service for an extra $500. I told them that was ridiculous for a car that new and Daniel, the service manager, told some B.S. about harsh driving conditions in our area. I declined the extra work. After a 2 hour and 45 minute wait I got the car back. I decided to check the brake fluid reservoir and of course, the fluid was perfectly clear and pale yellow like new brake fluid is. I then decided to check the oil. It was dark brown like old, dirty oil is. THEY DIDN'T CHANGE THE OIL!!. I then inspected my tires and could tell they didn't rotate them! I knew this because one of my front tires had a red dot on it and that tire was in the same place as it was before. So I immediately took the car back to them and told them I knew they didn't do the work and showed them why I knew this. Again Daneil tried some of his lies and B.S. on me. It didn't take long for him to realize he was caught and he said they would refund my money. It took a week but eventually I got my money back, about $140. They are dishonest and I would say criminal since they basically tried to steal money from me.Review from Rahnikka B

Rude , Unprofessional, and Untrustworthy Dealership . I have several unpaid tickets in DC and VA . This is due to someone placing paper tags in my name for me to test drive a vehicle. The dealership never removed the tags from the vehicle and it was stolen Chris B*** and Daniel agreed to pay all the tickets and have not . It’s been a month . They never even informed me the vehicle was stolen with the tags in my name . They claimed they would be accountable and pay the tickets and have not paid them . This is unacceptable. I refuse to pay $281 because of this dealerships incompetence and unprofessionalism !!!Review from Robert D

I was surprised to real the negative commentary on the Ourisman Alexandria Kia dealership I disagree vehemently . The staff actively interacted with us at all stages when we purchased our new Kia Niro. They did not engage in the sort of high-pressure, bullying tactics that one encounters at other dealerships. We discussed the issues that we were pondering in deciding to purchase the Kia Niro with Sharad Lall, the salesman, and also the general manager. They talked at length with us about the positive features of the non-plug in hybrid Kia Niro. .Each sat with us in the car for considerable periods of time explaining the car's unique features and digital technology. . As Shalal and the general manager explained, our new non-plug in hybrid Kia Niro has a touch screen media system and driver information screen. As they showed us, our Kia Niro also has an upgraded, redesigned Kia Connect system, a user friendly, useful set of screen apps that lets us easily find the functions we need. Sharad and the general manager patiently coached us on how the Kia non-plug in hybrid technology works, with the electric battery powering the car at lower speeds and the internal combustion engine only kicking in at higher speeds, yielding over 50 mpg, greatly reducing our outlays for gas.. These 2 gentlemen outlined the car's technology that facilitates navigating parking lots and minimizing the risks of collisions. As they explained, the car informs the driver of the speed limit and provides navigational maps, monitors blind spots, warns the driver when he is approaching too close to other cars, stop signs or lights. It warns if the car is veering into another lane. Sharad was patient in taking us out on the road for multiple test drives, pointing out how to make the best use of the car’s hybrid and digital technology. We could see how roomy the car was and how well it maneuvered and accelerated. . .I cannot praise the Ourisman Alexandria Kia dealership too highly.Review from Sir A.

I had one of the worst experiences with this specific company, Ourisman KIA, in Alexandria, VA. This dealership sits outside the gate of Fort Belvoir and services the members of our great military. I am a SFC (Ret) from the United States Army and a college professor. I believe in honor and integrity and doing the right thing by people in life. I currently have two 2015 KIA vehicles that have both had blown engines the last year. We have a 2015 KIA Optima and a 2015 KIA soul. The optima engine blew last summer, and I had no idea that KIA had multiple issues regarding their engines. KIA representatives have confirmed this to my face, so this is not anything that I am making up. We have always maintained the maintenance on our vehicles, so it was not due to negligence on our behalf. Before Thanksgiving, my daughter was driving her 2015 KIA Soul, and her engine seized up on her as she was driving north on I-95. We had her car towed to the Hart Nissan of NOVA where we purchased the vehicle back in June 2022. Hart Nissan notified us that KIA was responsible for the car because of the engine issues that KIA has had over the years, including the 2015 models (no specific car, Optimas, and Souls included). Nissan contacted Ourisman KIA before Thanksgiving; a month went by without any return calls from Ourisman KIA. I eventually took my daughter to Ourisman to find out why we were not receiving any return calls so we could see the process for getting our car fixed. The salesman who greeted us told us that his 2013 KIA optima had an engine replacement, which only supported the issues we were experiencing with our 2 KIA vehicles. I met with a great young man named Joseph, who works in the service department, and he was great. I will continue this review as part 2! This business has a D+ rating and accreditation. This explains why the response has been terrible. Continued under Dr. Avington...
