We had a complete compressor installed in sub freezing weather. *** and ***** were friendly, professional and made sure to keep us informed on progress. We have always had great experiences with Snell technicians conducting repairs or routine maintenance. The office and techs keep us informed of their expected arrival times which helps us with our busy schedule. In every respect, this was a good experience.Snell Heating & Air Conditioning LLC Response

This company uses extreme price gouging.Snell came to my home to address a leak in our ****/water heater closet. After a quick assessment, the tech advised us that we needed to add a pressure reducer to our water heater to stop the leak. We were quoted $1,200 for the installation, and although I promptly paid this amount, I have repeatedly asked for an itemized receipt that breaks down the cost of the part and labor. Despite four separate requests and an escalation request, I have only received a vague invoice that lists no cost breakdown. It is concerning that a company of Snells reputation is unable or unwilling to provide a more detailed breakdown and at least share how much the part and labor were each.Less than a week after this repair, the leak returned in the same location. According to the ************** guarantee, I should have received service within 24 hours, but this did not happen. When a technician finally arrived, he told us that the original pressure reducer installation had not been completed correctly as the new part was not properly tightened.The situation further deteriorated when the leak returned yet again 4 days later. During the third visit, the technician admitted uncertainty regarding the issue and suggested replacing the entire water heater at a cost of $3,000. Not willing to accept this without another opinion, I contacted *********************, whose technician quickly identified the source of the leak as stemming from the **** system, not the water heater. They resolved the issue in under an hour for a reasonable ******* is clear that Snell Home Services technician failed to do an assessment of the **** prior to performing $1,200 of unnecessary repair on the wrong appliance. Even worse, now that I have escalated the issue and did finally get an itemized receipt I learned that they originally charged me $709 DOLLARS FOR ONE HOUR of labor. Beware of shady business practices! We were their customer for 20 + years & started having a bad feeling last year. Our HVAC is 17 years old, and last year at our winter check we were advised we should get a new system as ours might go soon. The person who came out was pushy with sales tactics, to the point where we cut the visit short and have him leave. The estimate he gave was $22,000 much higher than the avge price for a system for our area/size of house. Needless to say we did not pursue it. We did keep our annual service contract, and a tech came out to do a heat check a few wks ago.The tech this time claimed that our system was faulty, such that gas was leaking because the valve was not shutting properly even when the heat was off. He showed his gas detector going off, despite the fact that was no gas smell I could discern. He used scare tactics saying to shut off the heat as it was too dangerous. He quoted $2K to replace the necessary part, and had me sign a waiver saying I understood the danger. He also showed me pics of the inside of my system, and said the whole system was likely to have a carbon monoxide leak soon as well if not replaced.We had a second company come out 24 hrs later. The other company's evaluation directly contradicted Snell. No gas leak, or need for immediate replacement of system. I see no reason why they would have found a different result if the problem was as significant as they made it seem, unless they doctored the results. I complained to Snell, had to call a few times for a response. The person handling my complaint said his tech had video of the problem he found, and asked for the other company's report. After I provided it, I never heard from them again, despite repeated e mails. Terrible company! Buyer beware!Snell Heating & Air Conditioning LLC Response

I was very happy with Snell for my plumbing concern. Not only dud they come out the same day I called but I felt confident with ******* evaluation of the situation and appreciated how well he listened and checked things. ****** was very attention to detaile. We have a problem with the pan setting off the puck sencer. ***************************** out the pan was draining but also leaking into the unit. Every other person just dryed the puck and empty the pan. Now that he took the time to figure out the real problem. We can have A/C during the summer. He will be back when the pan comes in. **** exceeded our expectations by volunteering to conduct water tests to diagnose black specks residue coming out of our shower head and faucets. From the moment they notified me they were on their way through the time they left, Justin from sales and Dan and Gabe from the hvac installation department provided constant respectfulness and consistent professionalism. All three are assets to the company for impeccable customer service, explaining things thoroughly and competence of their trades. I bought a new gas furnace from Justin and the next day Gabe and Dan removed the old one and installed the new one...leaving my house cleaner than when they arrived. Their attention to detail went above and beyond any other company I have dealt with the past 30 years. All three technicians answered all my questions without judgement or rushing through things. Each were meticulous making sure I understood what to expect AND sent me every detail and promise in writing. All three upheld Snell's rules of conduct published on the website. There were no excuses or surprises...everything was completed exactly as promised. I highly recommend these employees AND Snell as a trustworthy ethical company.Review from Mark B

I have use Snell for a number of years when it was 4 Service Pros. The technicians are very thorough and provide a detailed observation of the systems including pictures,etc. Costs, unfortunately have increased but they offer rebates and discount plus toucan pay over time.
