As a Provider this insurance company is similar to United Healthcare!! I have billed them on behalf of our pts 3-4 times on claims dating back to September. I am in the process of reporting them to the Insurance Commissioner of the state of MN. This is a disgrace as most of the patients are Senior CitizensReview from Ab A

cant even get ahold of them after 4 hours on live chat and their hotline just to choose a facility so i can get my tooth fixed. ************. they will never pick up. i dont even know why the government insurance website allows them to be showed.Review from Jody O

Incompetent to say the least. Website dysfunctional, phone system dysfunctional. I mean literally dysfunctional. Website can't process your payment. Phone system can only sporadically process your payments. It is such a hassle to just pay your monthly bill. Provider list unreliable. I've had to call this place dozens and dozens of times for the most basic functions. Tried to pay again today by phone, waited on hold, was given the option for a callback, opted for a callback and went into an automated repeat loop before eventually getting cut off and not receiving a call back. Every time, it's a new version of dysfunction. I hope the *** administrators are aware of how dysfunctional this business is and will stop allowing them to participate until they get their act together. I sometimes wonder if the incompetence is part of a fraud.Review from Daniel C

As noted by the other reviewer, this insurance company is absolutely an incompetent, misleading, unresponsive, dishonest, scam of a company. When I was a active member of theirs they did not have any in network providers in my noted state of ******* (despite being linked by the government health insurance marketplace.) when contacted, they were unable to provide a list but informed me that I could use the coverage provided by my out of network coverage (90% payment for cleaning and check **** And 60% for fillings and minor surgeries). So I was given the go ahead I proceeded with my dental visits And procedures. However, when all was said and done, Dominion did not provide the noted coverage promises by their plan and payed a total of less than 10% of the entire bill. (Leaving me with roughly $600 out of my pocket from what they should have covered.). When I tried to inquire about what happened and why they did not respond to phone communication or email for well over a month and counting. (I now can't get a hold of any associates regarding my case). Completely unprofessional and dishonest. Scam of a company, stay away.Review from Amber a

0 stars Worst ever. I upped my dental just incase I needed cavities filled this year. My other company was fine. But this one claimed they would pay for routine cleanings,xrays, and 60% of everything else. Nope... Changed companies just to apparently be charged out of pocket for routine cleanings and more for premiums. Oh and there is no info online.Don't do it. #healthcaregov needs to get rid of them. Had issues with 2 of my teeth. Had them fixed by my dentist. Bill was 1400. They only paid 200. I always paid my monthly payments to have dental insurance. What a scam. Stay away from this company. I think it would have been cheaper if I didn't have insurance. I contacted them on ******** messenger to look into it. Haven't herd nothing. What a Joke. Dominion National really needs to be investigated. They are connected to Healthcare.gov and will come up showing that your Dentist is approved and accepts Dominion Dental Insurance. However, your dentist will not accept it. While I was trying to figure out what was going on with Dominion, I clicked on their "Find your Dentist". Did a search, and there are no dentists listed as available in my area. Then their customer service sent told me I had to use a different link. I entered the webpage she gave me and 2 things happened. 1) I had a pop up scam jump up that was blocking my computer indicating I had to call another scam company and give them all of my information. Then 2), after I killed the pop up, it had my on another site to search for dentists. out of curiosity, I ran it. From what I can tell, the site is doing a web search behind the scenes, and then showing all of the dentists in your area and say they are approved, but you are not really on a Dominion National Website, and you are certainly not logged into anything. I paid these guys $600, and now have to pay my dental bill in full out of my pocket for almost $700 before I figured this all out and saw that others are posting a very similar issue to mine here on the BBBReview from ROBERT M

Can I give 0 stars? The absolute worst. They cover NOTHING. While they say they pay up to 90% of charges, it's only the amount THEY determine the dentist should charge not what they actually charge. I've paid them $300 so far this year and for 2 cleanings they have paid out.....$6.Review from Darrell J

Dominion National is a complete scam insurance company. They will say they never received a claim from you. Even after multiple attempts at mailing and faxing a claim, they will take unnecessarily long to remimburse you, or simply not reimburse you at all. DO NOT buy insurance through this company.
