They made a MATERIAL change to their Max **** Checking terms of service and only notified through an email. They removed direct deposit as one of the conditions for waiving the $15 monthly fee. They failed to highlight this removal. They only bolded and highlighted removing foreign transaction debit fees and the $5,000 balance condition which was already pre-existing. I asked them to credit the $15 fee back, but they refused.Review from michael e

Do not use this company to handle your funds, if you have a debit card and you go out to eat or use it on Cash app, Apple Pay, or Meta they will restrict you from using it and you have to verify like 20 pieces of information before they will restict it, they do not notify you so you have to call them which can be 2 hours on hold before someone answers and when they do answer they generally hang up because they are confused, stay far away from this company for anything financialReview from Robert K

Terrible customer support, not knowledge, doesnt understand their own platform. Their platform has so many bugs and displays inconsistent information between their own desktop and mobile platforms. Developers claim its working properly. once *************************** bought Etrade, their products and services went in the garbage. They withhold your dividends for extra days compared to other brokerages. Stay away from etrade. Much better brokerages out there. s***** customer service they make you waste your time trying to do the stupid verification which took 2 1/2 weeks by the way and then when you try and do the verification, theyll tell you you cant have an account wont give you the reason why will yell at you when youre trying to get information I was yelled at by the supervisor over the phone, trying to get more information was denied to speak to someone higher up a s***** business and a bad way to conduct itReview from Nigel J

What the heck has happened to E*trade?!!!! I have been with them for a long time and this past week has been a venture through hell! Representatives not doing as the said they woould. Being liars, being deceptive and being very unprofessional! The **** representative called me a f...king idiot! I believe they have lost their minds. Ordered checks with Etrade bank several times and they have never arrived. **************** says they filed a case.. ..turned out not true. Will not let you speak with a manager. I have been a etrade bank customer for 20+ years. Last 6 mo has been horribleReview from Ameena M

I have been an e-trade customer for over 30 years. over the past 3 weeks I have had issues accessing my account on-line, mobile and customer service over 5 times. this has ********************** impacted my ability to trade. I will moving my account ASAP. hopefully i will be able to do this without issues. The new E-trade is horrible!!!
