I hired nachman pools to close my Pool for winter on 9-19-22 and then called then back end of March to review my system and tell me what upgrades or repairs are needed.I then call ***************** to come and open my pool and review my system on 4-19-23. As soon as they pulled off cover they told me your system was not properly closed. No water drained from pipes, no plugs installed and now i have cracked pipes and a damaged Heater unit.I had Nachman rep come and address the issue on 4-22-23. He attempted to blame me for not knowing how the system needed to be cleaned and closed. He said we never provided the plugs or asked for the pipes to be drained. I was shocked this is my first pool and why i hired a professional to close it. How was i supposed to know he didnt properly close it?? He topd me my system was probably broken before, how is he to know if it was running. I had him inspect and clean my system on 2-different occasions. No notes or forewarning of anything broken, just huge price tag to upgrade my pump and pool cover.

    Hi,
I want to ask about this complaint, as I also explained to the customer. When we were close to his pool, he did not have anything plugs, etc. his pool was in terrible condition. We had to come two times, clean it and shock it. None of the equipment was working. I offered customer test everything, but he said no, clean it and close my pool. When we open it, I will move my equipment.
Then we got calls from him saying we did not close his pool correctly. As I explained to him, he did not have plugs; I told him he needed to have them. All we did it shut off the valve. He took the risk. He hired another company to open his pool. He said the heater had a leak—that company redoe plumbing. I told the customer you were supposed to call our company first if you saw any problems. Why did you not call me? Second, we shut off the valve so your heater would get the water. It was empty. None of your equipment was working. How do you know it is our fault? I offer you to test equipment because when we closed his pool none of equipment was working, and the pool was in terrible condition.
This is nothing to with us. WE CLEAN HIS POOL AND PUT A COVER ON HIS POOL AND SHUT OFF THE VALVE, AND EMPTIED TO PUMP AND HEATER PIPE, THAT IS ALL. HE EVEN TOLD ME HE WOULD MOVE EQUIPMENT TO UP INSIDE THE SHED. WE DID NOT DO ANYTHING WRONG. I OFFER TO BUY PLUGS SO WE CAN USE THE AIR COMPRESSOR AND PLUG PIPE. HE SAID I DO NOT HAVE IT, AND IT IS OKAY BECAUSE I WILL MOVE THE EQUIPMENT TO UP INSIDE THE SHED. CURRENTLY, EQUIPMENT IS DOWN BELOW THE POOL. THE HEATER WAS NOT WORKING WHEN WE CLOSED HIS POOL. HOW DOES HE KNOW IT WAS OUR FAULT? I ASKED HIM TO SHOW ME PROOF HE DID NOT. BECAUSE IT WAS NOT WORKING.

Pool installation is a nightmare. He started in October and it still isnt done. Water is currently green, and has been shocked 4 times. Concrete is a mess. Our yard is destroyed by his tools, equipment, and gravel/concrete spills. He has lied about coming out to finish everything too many times to count. Because the water is green again, it is now a mosquito breeding ground. He had not tested our equipment (which he installed).

After looking at the picture, the pool was this color because they cut the grass, as you can see in the picture.  The grass went into the pool and caused algae to grow.  We explained to the customer that maintaining the pool was their responsibility as the pool was finished.  However, we cleaned it for them at no charge, and we never responded or helped this customer. We are pool installers. We do not maintain pools. Our contract was to install a fiberglass pool. After installation and filling out the water in the pool, it is the customer's responsibility to maintain the pool. Again we did work and clean it shocked a couple of times NO CHARGE. We want to customer to be happy.
