Last week I purchased items online because of an advertised sale. It lured me in, and I made several purchases. A lot of my order was canceled. When I called to inquire why they indicated items were out of stock. Unfortunately, the items are still in stock. I called posing to make a purchase for the same items (which are now full priced again) and was guaranteed items were available- same sku and size as the discounted order I placed. They just didn't want to honor the sale price or had them marked incorrectly I'm assuming. When I called again asking if I could have the items sent now, since they were "restocked" I was told no. They said for my trouble they'd send me a 10% off coupon, but didn't send me anything. If you google "cheap Syracuse university t-shirt" the faux prices still appear, but after 3 clicks to their webpage it doesn't match the advertised prices. For false advertising, lying about canceling an ordee due to being out of stock, failing ti follow through on a promise, and lousy overall service I would like to file this complaint.

Hello,In the response received from the BBB you indicated:"Re: BBB Complaint ID ******** Follett's University Bookstore.  Dear ****** *****Thank you for contacting BBB. In order to evaluate whether or how our Dispute Resolution Services may be of further assistance to the parties in resolving this dispute, please explain: It's not clear who the compliant should be filed against. Can you please provide the return policy that way we can see if the information is on there. We will follow up with you upon receipt of your written response. Be sure to reference your complaint number, ******** , in your follow up correspondence."The complaint should be filed against Folletts, since they aren't honoring the orders, have the items available in stock, but increased the prices since my initial purchase. When I called for help they offered me a 10% off coupon code off total prices, but never sent it. Since then, they are still showing sale prices on web searches, but when you reach their website the price jumps. Although some call it clickbaot, its fraudulent advertising. Follett's information is listed on the bottom of their website (shop.cuse.com) and in the screenshots of my receipts I shared with you.  Here is the link to the return policy you requested:***********************************************************************************************

Hello,  I have attached all of the customer service emails along with her order information. She placed the first order on September 22, which was when we were having the 75% off sale. We were able to fill 7 items with multiple different quantities. The 3 items that do not have the tracking number (on the file named ****** **** 3) are the items we only had 1 left in the size she ordered so those items automatically got cancelled. On September 28th, she ordered again and received all of those items ( on the file ****** **** 2). On October 26th she ordered the 3 items the she did not receive with the first order she placed. Due to it being over a month after placing the first order and the sale we sold out of one of the items she did not receive (the item with no tracking number on the file alecia zema 1). We even gave it to her at a 75% discount and free shipping even though the sale had already ended. Please send confirmation on what needs to happen next or if the complaint has been satisfied. If you need any more info, please feel free to reach out.  Team Lead Store # ***** ***** ****
