            He came with 3 separate checks.  You have to pump the dollar amount for the total of the checks.  The cash register receipt has to match exactly the dollar amount or less on the checks.  We can not turn on the pumps until we receive the money cash or check.  You also can not get any cash back, if there is left over dollar amount it has to go back to the ****** *******.    If you needed more gas than what the checks equaled you have to start another transaction and pay upfront of either cash or check or put in a credit card at the pump.

            I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. This is the exact problem,  when you need to fill up a car using these certificates you do not know the exact amount that you will need to fill up the car.  This business owner in my opinion may or may not take advantage of this programIf i have certificates totaling 70  but it only takes 60 to fill up my car,  I have lost $10 and the company may or may not fill out the form as I got $70.  In any case I would use 50 in certificates and then pay the rest in cash, but with his policy of not turning the pump on till you pay for it,  I do not understand that option.  I also understand that he may think a person will drive away.  Leaving your drivers license with the clerk an allowing the pump to be turned on would be a satisfactory solution.  They can turn on the pumps before payment,  this is the only station that I have dealt with that claims they cannot turn on a pump unless paid,  that is there policy , nothing stops them from turning them on. I suggest that he review his policy as I think this could be violation of the ADA act.  Regards, **** ********
