On November 18, 2024, I brought my 2023 Range Rover Sport SE, with only ****** miles, to the dealership's service department due to a brake system warning light. Despite the vehicle being under warranty, I was informed that the issue was a brake booster failure. DO NOT BUY OR SELL FROM THIS DEALERSHIP I had sold a vehicle to this dealership and 10 days after we signed the paperwork they said they no longer wanted the vehicle and threatened to have it impounded if I did not pick it up within 24 hours...Just so everyone is aware I Bought this vehicle from them and was a customer and this is how I was treated. They hid documentation of the sale saying "We no longer have those documents" Modified the vehicle I sold to them and listed it for sale before calling me, stating the car had issues which were MINOR... The ownership President did nothing about this and I almost lost out on buying a home because the sale did not happen. This dealership is full of Liars and Crooks. I highly recommend the **************************** Rover if you would like to buy a Range Rover.

If I could give Land Rover Chantilly 0 stars I would. Background: 2015 Land Rover Discovery, ******* miles. I have had only issues with this establishment since I started to take my vehicle there, starting 3 years ago. I took it there because my turbo charger was having issues. They replaced it and within 10 months it messed up again. Fortunately, it was still under the warranty and they replaced it for free. Recently, I took it back because I had a check engine light and a shake in my car. The service engine light was the timing belt which they changed for me. The shake in the car is a different story. They first said it was a broken motor mount. They changed it and said the car was good. When I picked it up the car still had a shake. I took it back and they said the other motor mount was broken and needed to be replaced. After that I received a call saying it wasnt the motor mount it was something that needed to be replaced in the right wheel area. I received another call saying that wasnt it and that they had to get the main Land Rover office involved. Eventually they said it was the transfer case. They changed the transfer case and the shake is gone but not I have a rattle in my car 3 days after picking it up. They say now that I need a new shock on that same side of my wheel they worked on where they thought the problem was. I am done. I have spent around $20K at this dealership, it takes them forever and what seems like they guess at what needs to be fixed and when that doesnt work they go to something different. Not to add that I did not have a rattle prior to going into their shop and now I do and somehow it is my fault because it is an old car and things can get broken when a car is being fixed. Ridiculous! I would not recommend this place for ANY car owner!

I recently had an incident that led me to never buy another Jaguar car ever. I have a 2016 Jaguar XF 35T. I have been the only owner and had it since Jan. 2017. The car has @49k miles on it. Last week I got out of my car and attempted to close the driver side door, but it would not latch. It would not close. I drove to the Jaguar LandRover of Chantilly dealer in Chantilly Virginia holding the door close all the way to have them take a look. The service representative (*******) said it would be a couple of days before they can look at it. A couple of days turned into 7 whole days before they even took a look at the problem. This wasnt the most outrages thing. The service representative (*******) said the problem was a latch assembly. It would cost @$950 to repair. The part was $327, taxes was @$24 and the other $597 was all labor. I ask the service manager (******) if they would consider waiver the labor, she said no.This is a Safety issueJaguar knows their latch assembly has a design flaw and is defective in this and other of their models. This is a serious safety issue when the driver door does not stay close. There are countless people complaining about the exact same thing on the Internet. People have been complaining about it since the 2011 models. Rather than take ownership of the flaw and safety hazard, they made the decision to ignore it and pass the repair cost to customers.Profiting from a design flawThe ************************************************* of ********************** is using the lack of action from Jaguar corporation to rip customers off. There are several videos on how to replace the door latch assembly. None of the full videos took more that ***** minutes to complete. Jaguar LandRover of Chantilly service charge 3 hours of labor ($597) for the exact same repair. I think it simply outrageous for Jaguar of Chantilly to charge customers $597 in labor cost for repairs of a safety issue and a plain and clear design flaw in their cars. This is classic case of dealership rip off.

The service department at Land River Chantilly is terrible. They have currently had my car for over a month and communication has been very minimal. No one calls to update what is going on with my vehicle and it is a struggle to get ahold of anyone there for information. They tried to give my car back to me at one point though it had not been fully repaired. When I brought this to their attention, they just shrugged and took it back to continue repairs. I will never buy any kind of Rover again simply to avoid their awful service departments.

Brought vehicle in for oil change and check the brakes was told it was due for a service after he pulled up our info, told them to go ahead then a call 30 minutes later from service technician told our rotors were bad and whoever did them last used off market parts, when we told him THEY were the only ones worked on our car, he didn’t know what to say, (new guy not yet fully groomed so spoke the truth) when asked Richard the GM he assured me they NEVER use off market parts only Land Rover parts, but would see what was going on, he didn’t call me back (says he did but he’s the only one who says he left a vm but there was no vm from him, got four other vm’s that day) has Kevin call me (asked Kevin who he was) manager of service .. he can’t explain why they used after market parts or why no one ever disclosed to us but the rotors need to be replaced when I mentioned because they were off the market parts never disclosed to us they should cover replacement cost for Land Rover parts like they should have used when they replaced them earlier to which we were told no they would not. Had they used Land Rover parts to begin with they wouldn’t need replacement now and we were never informed any parts being put on our vehicle were after market parts yet we paid the same price as if they were Land Rover parts. My husband then calls to tell me he had the vehicle in for the service just 3 months ago and paid $1750 so the $1800 quote today is not necessary, when asked the service technician he says the notes just say oil change was done no prior notes of what was done in May. So had my husband not called me back to inform me they would have surely collected another $1800 just 3 months later and not said a word to us! They refuse to own up to having used off market parts without our knowledge and now that those parts are warped refuse to correct the problem with Land Rover parts that we already paid for earlier when they duped us! We are speaking with an attorney, this is not over!

Land Rover Chantilly has explained to Mrs Whitaker that her rear brake rotors were replaced two years ago during Covid shortages with aftermarket rotors and is clearly marked on her receipts / invoice she paid. The rear rotors were marked aftermarket in all capital letters and was communicated to them two years ago. We explained to Ellen that we performed a run out test and her front brake rotors are causing the slight vibration not the rear. She has put over 44,000 miles on the rear brakes in two years and are still good. The front rotors need to be replaced to correct the slight vibration which were not replaced. We did not charge to perform a run out test of the front and rear brake rotors.

I purchased a 2022 used Porsche Macan from this dealer in January of 2023 and was promised a second key in writing. The dealership has failed to provide the second key (approx. cost $700) and is totally unresponsive to my inquiries regarding when the key will be provided. I have tried calling the sales manager and the dealership owners without any response. Calling the dealership is useless. The phone menu just puts you in loop and many of the selections offered don't work. Happy to change my opinion if the dealership makes good on it's promise but not holding my breath.

We are very sorry to hear about this. We did look into the referenced aftermarket products and they were refunded at a prorated amount per the contracts. These products are with outside insurance companies and do get prorated by the months in service. At any time if the product was needed the insurance companies would pay so it is only fair that they prorate any refund per their agreement.

I was racially profiled, by the salesman and the GM for trying to place an order. After a 5K down payment They called asking for my tax. I told them my bank Navy Federal will be financing. He still insisted and said he wants to make sure we are not shipping the car to Africa. I requested to talk to the GM , but he refused because he is part of this racial profile. I received a call from the salesman saying they have decided not to sell the car to me. So they will issue a refund for the wire transfer. We were very disrespected by this dealership. And nobody should be doing business like this in this day and age.
