Oasis Day Spa & Body Shop is trying to keep 50% of the service total of $210. I called the business both Sunday and Monday, left a voicemail on Monday to reschedule a surprise spa day gifted by my husband for Tuesday, June 11, 2024. The business does not answer phone calls. They state a 24 hour cancellation policy; however, that is invalid. I would have had to call on Saturday which would make it a 48 hour policy. There is also no way to speak to anyone. They do NOT answer phone calls and are not open on Sunday or Monday. Both my husband and I called this morning (Tuesday) at 9:20 AM with no answer. My husband called again and left a voicemail. I called the business again at 10:47 AM with an answer from someone named *****. She was rude and not willing to work with me as the customer. She told me that rescheduling is the same as cancelling which is crazy because she needs to look up those definitions in the dictionary. She also refused to reschedule the appointment without taking 50% of the last appointment balance. She quoted a 24 hour cancellation policy which is not valid as they do not answer their phone for customers to reschedule. I also was not asking for a cancellation in which they rudely sent an email to my husband last night. I simply asked for a reschedule. I would like the public to be aware of their so called 24 hour cancellation policy which should be changed to 48 hours. I also demand a refund! I am prepared to report this incident and awful customer service to the local news to help the public with bad business awareness.
