My car was towed to Pro Tech on 8/8/2023 It was agreed that work on my car should begin as insurance would likely not cover the work on 8/11/2022 A written estimate was provided on 8/16/2023 after days of chasing them for an estimate and them promising to send it every day. A 50% deposit for the work was paid on 8/17/2023. All ordered parts were delivered to the shop on 8/23/2023. As of 9/2/2023, no work on my car has been done. I was told two times my car would be ready in x amount of days, each time the deadline set by them was not met. The last being told this week, but no work has been done on my car. Further I am being told they just dont have the capacity to complete the work on my car. I have attempted to talk to management (***********************), but he is repeating the same words as his estimator (*****), that they dont have the capacity to complete the work and i have been told I can tow the car to a different shop but they wont cover the tow fees. Further that the parts I purchased they will not give them to me. At this point I am out thousands of dollars, and our a car for weeks. I would like a full refunds of what I have paid, and ****************** fees from their shop covered. It further appears that my issues with them are not unique. Looking at reviews, it appears that Im not the only person they have delayed working on a car for and not the only person who has had the unfortunate task of dealing with ******************.I paid full price for all parts ordered by the shop to fix my car. The auto shop decided it would not conduct any work on my car because I questioned if they had the capacity to work on my car. My ******* (the owner) asked that I have my car towed.I requested that the car and all parts that I had already paid for be towed to a new facility ******* decided that he would instead return all parts ordered and charge me a restocking fee. (There is no transparency as to what this fee is, and as of today, I am yet to receive any kind of refund).

My vehicle was involved in a collision on August 24th and taken to Pro-Tech Collision. They accepted my vehicle with a completion date of September 30th. They have been paid in full by my insurance company and as of October 27th I still do not have my vehicle nor do I have an estimated date of completion. They constantly send updates with falsified information saying my vehicle is being primed for painting or is in the reassembly stage. I was told on October 10th my car was going into the paint line to be prepped and primed for the paint booth this week. On October 13th I was told your vehicle is moving through the paint line. On October 20th I was told my vehicle had been painted and was now in the reassembly process. Once reassembled it will be washed, and then have a quality control check and post collision scan. On October 27th when I finally got in touch with someone I was told that they were still waiting for parts to come in. Everything that they tell you is false. I am out of pocket $1800 for a rental car because my insurance coverage ran out and they are 4 weeks past the timeline they gave me with no end date in sight.

Customer was told parts were on back order due to the current situation in our industry and across the country. The customer was given a sheet that all customers are given before repairs start that explain the state of the industry. We cannot be held responsible for the manufacturing of the parts needed to fix their vehicle. When their parts arrive we try to move them through the system as quickly as possible. Unfortunately they are not the only customer that this happens to in our shop or our industry. This creates a backlog in the shop and we work through it as quickly and efficiently as possible.  As far as their rental situation goes that is between them and their insurance company.

My vehicle was put into Pro Tech on May 16, 2022 and I had a rental until May 28th. After that my insurance ran out so I have been without a vehicle while they supposedly "worked" on my car. They gave me NO date of when the parts would be in. I found out that they did not receive the parts until May 31st. They were giving me false information all the way up until the second week of June with automated emails saying car is in painting car is taken apart car will be ready the 8th. I finally call June 6th to find out they had not done barely any work on my car. Mind you they had my vehicle from MAY 16th with no work done. I was not informed that the parts were not in until June 6th call. I never called because of their false emails they sent. On the 6th they say it will be done the 18th of June. The week of June 18th i get ANOTHER call its gonna be delayed. Well I told them if it was not done by the 18th I would be making a complaint. I contacted my insurance company on June 14th. They have been pushing them to fix my car. Now somehow I have a dead battery that they are not going to charge me for ???? On a 2020 vehicle that had NO battery problems they somehow cant get to work. So now its going to probably be until June 21st. This is THE WORST service I have every received. They are lazy, shady and I am not going to pay $500 for a car they keep pushing out and not having completed for OVER a MONTH. I need HELP. This is just not right.
