on August 2, 2024 Around 11 AM to 12 PM I went to go get my state emissions done by lil tire *** for some reason they charge me $50 come to find out instead of them charging me for emissions they charged me for a state inspection and emissions. Now on June 20, 2024 I completed my state inspection and passed with no issues come today which is August 22. They ripped off my sticker for June and put rejection as the sticker. Meanwhile, I never asked for an inspection. I asked for emissions when I asked them why they sat there and tried to tell me I asked for a state and emissions which never came out my mouth tell them to run back their camera and they can clearly hear me say I want to state emissions. I also have my uncle that can Probly tell you that I had to get my state admissions when I asked them why they sat there and told me I told him and for some odd reason they will sit there and tell me that theres nothing they can do about it. I should go talk to the state trooper. I talked to the state trooper. Theres nothing he can do about it so right now Im getting the runaround because of unethical practices, which has caused me my rejection sticker and also if I wanted to sell this car that would be an issue due to the fact of what the mechanics did at the shop I will further provide all the evidence needed. This is very unethical and Im very disheartened by the actions taking upon me, knowing that I am a student and I had to go back to *******. I even asked them is there anything they can do to work with me? They told me no, which is fine so I am making this complaint that this is unethical and unreasonable now Ive lost my June 2025 sticker due to them removing it and doing an unsanctioned inspection. I am currently a senior Norfolk state (NSU) IT student who majors also is in politics and I dont have the 300 and something dollars that theyre looking for if theyre willing to work with me and Ill just pay them to labor cool but if not, thats fine by me.

First , there is a language issue in this transaction.  This customer did initially ask for a state inspection then after that inspection was already started and the sticker had been scraped, tried to change it to an emissions test. We completed the inspection and found a bad wheel bearing.  The bad bearing was confirmed by the state trooper. Because of this another passing inspection sticker could not be issued, also confirmed by the trooper.  The emission test was completed and passed.  This customer was only charged for the emission test and not the state inspection. We are sorry for all the confusion in this transaction.
