I hired IDEQOR to be my wedding planner and decorator last year November. I paid the deposit and then ** ********* asked for more money he indicated it was for a down payment for the florist. 2 weeks after I submitted the payment (total payment submitted was $5133.11) we had a conference call on Thursday April 27 do go over next steps and when IDEQOR will begin to work on planning etc. On the evening of Friday April 28 I received a text message from ****** indicating that he isnt able to do my wedding. I informed him since this is a breach of contract, I look forward to receiving a complete refund which he agreed. On April 29 he sent a message saying that per my contract I will receive my full refund in 2 weeks which would be May 12. Followed by some strange messages quoting Bible scriptures, praying hands emoji, fire emoji and the word bye in all caps. On May 10 ****** sent another text message apologizing for his behavior and staring if I wish, he could continue to work with me of refer me to vendors. I told him I have already moved on and looking forward to receiving my refund on the 12 of May as he indicated. On May 15, ****** texted and stated : Good afternoon ****, I saw your email, and I have limited connection here in ********. I completely understand your email, but again I had to wait to hear back from my finance team as I can't decide without their approval because of our internal policies.I personally wanted to give your refund on May 12th, but unfortunately it has to go through internal approvals. Per your contract, you are entitled to a full refund should we cancel your contract, however no specific date was outlined because that is done by our finance team.Your refund is confirmed that it will be done by our finance department (via check) on Saturday, June 24th.I truly wish I could have done it earlier, and I'm absolutely available to discuss with you or anyone representing you.He kept his commitment partially. On June 24 I followed go with ****** to reconfirm that I will receive my refund. On June 26th ****** indicated that there is a block on his account from his bank and that he is trying to figure out how to give me my money and that he can only give me 1/2 now and another 1/2 around the 4th of July. Which is odd as if the date was selected by his financial team I would think they would have put my money to the side to be paid out. It's now July 22 and I am still pending the $2633. Yesterday, ****** indicated the following Good morning ****,Unfortunately it is still the same issue going on with my account. I'm thinking of another way to refund you so I don't have you holding up. Again i'm very sorry as I didn't want it to take so long. however when I called and text him after he ignored my text and calls. I told him I urgently need the remainder of my money asap as I promised to send it to my new planner and vendor. I still have not heard from ****** or anyone from Ideqor.

    Greetings,

We are absolutely sorry about this situation and how it has affected our client. We did partially refund **** and expressed that our current bank account funds were frozen as we sort out some banking issues, because of that it has affected some of finance processes. We explained to **** that his next refund would be at the beginning of August.

We are truly sorry for the inconvenience this has caused to our client, and here at iDEQOR we strive for excellent customer experiences. We are definitely working internally to sort this out for our client.

We are more than happy to get on a call to talk through any additional questions.

    Thank you,

This is the last message I got from ******. As you can see he has not responded to me via email until July 9th.  Additionally you will see a screen shot of the last text message from ****** and he still have not call me or texted me back.  So i would have to beg the differ that he told me at the begging of August. Nonetheless, he told  May 12 and then he told me his finance team has to determine when I get the refund and was told in June.  Its now August 2 and I still have not heard from ****** as you can see from the provided proof.

We hired ideqor and entered a contract for decor services for our wedding. The whole process seemed legitimate, however a couple weeks after providing the over $500 deposit, the owner texts us telling us he can no longer do our wedding. He doesn’t pay us back and continues to ignore our calls, texts, emails, etc. This company is a scam.

    Good afternoon,

We received this complaint and we took the time to also apologize to this client as at iDEQOR we take every client contract very seriously. Our head designer at iDEQOR had a mental breakdown and decided to cancel the contract on the client. He did apologize and explain to the client what happened and why.

We also told the customer they are getting a full refund as it has to go through an internal approval process and the refund is set for June 24th, and this was communicated to the customer.

We are very shocked to see that they claim we are a scam as all our pages, and proven (reviews) track records can speak to that.

Should anyone have any questions, we would be more than happy to discuss.

    Thank you

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. Though nothing was explained on why the contract was cancelled. We still had all communications ignored from us for weeks, and wasn't shared a date of a refund for a month after the event was cancelled. Also we received our refund over 6 weeks later after a quick text cancelling our event. We wish this business the best, however do not agree with being client contact focused especially in terms of returning money or apologies until weeks later.

    Regards,
